Went to have a look at the Suberb. Nice car but I'm not a fan of how the bonnet fit, or should I say doesn't fit.

Is this some designers wet dream? Why would you want a bonnet that doesn't fit the car? I can see from a distance it created the lines of the car but close up it just looks ridiculous.

I test drove one and was happy enough with it dynamically. Couldn't get over the Skoda "nose" on the bonnet though. Bought a Passat instead. Essentially the same car with no daft nose.

Well mine is due for delivery at the end of the month and I have not even seen one in the flesh yet From what I hear / read I don't think I will be dissapointed even if it does have a "funny nose" wink

No it's a great motor. It's a lot softer sprung than my Scout was but its very confrtable. Can't believe how much tech it has compared to 5 years ago.

Makes me smile every five I drive it ?

It's also HUGE inside.

Yeah me too :-) have to say though that the rear passenger space is what's impressed most people.

Get yourself a set of Stainless pedals from skodadop or superskoda. They also sell a handy rubber mat that covers the transmission tunnel.

Theirs a map update just come out for the Columbus so grab yourself a 32gb sad card in preparation.

I'm about to order a mk3 2.0 TSI (220hp) DSG Superb, having owned a mk2 for three years a bit back. I'll miss the old style boot because it was very handy really (if ugly). A big hatch for ease when loading up with big stuff, but a saloon to keep the wind and rain off passengers when you need to throw in some shopping in the middle of winter.
