Would someone be able to link me or tell me the details of the service schedule for the DSG TT please.

I'm mainly interested in the DSG oil servicing and the Haldex oil servicing.

Also whether it's an easy job for a general mechanic to do, or whether there is a specific procedure to it which a non specialist might not know.

Cheers

60,000 km or 38,000 miles for each.

Personally would be tempted to do the gearbox oil sooner as the early TT boxes can give aggro and are expensive to fix.

DIYable but very fiddly and probably messy too.

Weren't the mk1s 20k for the oil and 40k for the filter on the Haldex?

Yes, you're right actually. I don't off the top of my head known when the changeover is.

Thanks

I've been looking into it today. Probably wouldn't attempt it myself.

So it seems these are just mileage dependent and not age, not even a couple of years? Would take me 10 years to get to 40k miles haha.

When were they last done (age/miles)?

If we're talking 4/5 years I'd be very tempted to do them now. Oil is much, much cheaper than replacing a gearbox/diff!

OCt 2009 - Haldex & DSG oil and filter change. 29,000 miles

June 2013 - Haldex & DSG oil and filter change. 35,000 miles

Sep 2014 - Gearbox was taken out for repair (worn bearings), so the DSG oil was done again when refitted. 37,500 miles

Currently on 40,000 miles.

There is a good few years gap between 2009 and 2013 that I can't find any service documents for. I'm still looking through all the papers (It was my brothers car)

But on the 2009 service invoice I can see it says gearbox oil change and a note saying 75/90 oil. So I'm now wondering whether this was even the correct oil or just some general transmission stuff, and whether this few years gap of no servicing and potentially the wrong oil is what caused the bearings to wear out at such low mileage?

Cheers

Audi don't list the specifications (that I can see) for Haldex or DSG oils but I'm pretty sure that isn't right for either.

Maybe it's why the gearbox broke then!

This is correct for the Haldex change
