Handheld OBD2 code scanner.

Has anyone here bought/used one of the handheld OBD2 code scanners you can pick up off ebay/amazon for around £13 ?

Yep, got the red one with the black lead, (can't remember the name and it's out in the car). Luckily I haven't had to use it for anything serious, but from what I gather it is pretty basic. I'm led to believe the "Torque pro"app on android and a bluetooth plugin to link it upto is a better bit of kit....

Got to be worth £13 even if it only identifies the code and is capable of clearing it ?

Ive got an orange one, model u480 or something thats around that price and it has been very good.
