After discount of £20,938, it's only £60,443 car, so 17K is paying for most of depreciation.

"Our Discount Price includes the £7,000 Finance Deposit Contribution from AUDI UK when taking AUDI finance.
If buying cash please add £7,000 back onto the Discount Price above. "

That's my problem with the current deal.

At c£18K including fees, the current price just represents what the car would lose over the term anyway.

I'll wait.
So the logic is that the car will be worth £60,443 minus £18k in two years? I.e. Worth £42,443 as a 24 month old car?

No, it's less than that now.

7 months old car at £53K:

http://www.audi.co.uk/used-cars/used-car-locator/a...

Colour must take the price down drastically. It has some extra options: 21" 5 triple spoke design alloy wheels, Power door closure, Privacy glass, Massage and ventilation function for front seats. So trade in price will be below £50K at 7 months.

That's perhaps not too bad assuming that car sold new with a £20k discount as would then mean 1st year depreciation (with the few options) is around £15k. If it sold for list then the owner is probably currently recovering in hospital from a financial haemorrhage.

It's much cheaper than other available cars from Audi so either it's colour taking price down or car had accident.

BTW, I can't understand why dealers are not cleaning cars properly before putting them for sale. There's one S8 6-12 months old and it looks absolutely awful on pictures. You can see that driver had kids who kicked and scratched back of front seats.

On that subject I sat in one last weekend, i was suprised at the rear seat space (or rather lack of). I am 6'2"...there wasn't huge amounts of space behind me.

The s8 deals were getting pushed pretty hard in the summer it was hard not to miss them...central leasing done a ton as well as s7's which were around the same price with 21" wheels etc.

I went direct to Audi in Dundee and took 2 S8's at £325 + VAT (they allocated 4 in total) on a 6/23 deal (saying that i must have sent over 20 people to Sytner in London who were offering a similar deal at the time). We ordered one in cuvee silver with brown leather which has been used in a couple of Audi photoshoots because its one of the only cars in the UK in this colour scheme the other car was Argus Brown.

Its an amazing deal but I would say you get them if you keep looking around my car I've just handed back was an SL350 which i leased for £260+VAT and i recall the Maserati Quattroporte being offered for around £320 early 2015 so keep an eye out as when they do come up they go fast!

The push will come from support from the manufacturer and I know Audi are not giving the same £20k support so the prices will be a little higher in Q1 (I've already been asking dealers to notify me should there be any push on the RS7 smile)
Awesome. What company have you worked with and got the great deals with? I have a CLS Shooting brake from Gateway2lease being returned soon. That SL350 offer is insane to say the least. Thanks

This one is even cheaper

More tempting than the current lease deals I would say. When that is a three year old car with lowish miles it would be worth £30k ?

How is £21950 over three years for a used car any better than (what was) £18k over 3 years for a new one?

actually yes that's more like £18k over 2 years for the current deals. £18k over 3 years (or more specifically £12k over 2 years) was more like the best deals from last year.

Does anyone know the best deals out there on the S8 at the moment, been offered a deal at £3.7k down and £465 per month plus VAT. A strange figure in but approximately 8 plus 23.

It will be 6 payments to the finance co plus a whacking great tickle for the broker. That's what many of the ones were before.

I read in the other thread about delivery delays to S8. What is the reason behind it? Audi took so many orders that factory needs to catch up?

Have you seen more of these cars on the roads after summer deal cars were delivered now? So far I have only seen one non-S A8 on 65 plate.

I've just been informed by Audi Guildford that mine is on track to be delivered by the due date. In fact they suggested there's an outside chance of getting it before then. I hope that is true...

anyone used the online tracker?

https://www.audi.co.uk/youraudi/youraudi.html

clearly you need to register and add your car using the audi order number, still works if lease co ordered.
