It's my car that arrived in December :-)

For comparison, offer was £2280 + 23 x £395 for basic spec. I added some options and paid £2499 + 23 x £433.

That's plus VAT though?

The Poster stated previously it was INCL of vat so a stinking deal
edited to add " it will cost me 12.5K for 2 years, vat included" which is 433x23+2499

I'm surprised more didn't take advantage as £4-500 a month for an £82k motor is an amazing deal.
So amazing it hurts. I'm kicking myself as I hadn't planned to go back to leasing once my M5 comes up for handover in March so hadn't bothered to check out the deals. The lady in Preston conceded that late last year they had budget targets to achieve and priced accordingly.

At current levels I suspect I might get myself a high miler V10 S6 to tide me over and be a bit more vigilant for a cracking lease deal over the coming year. Because making do with a V10 "shed" and then bagging a supersaloon bargain are all part of the fun, right?

That is indeed good. The extra mileage would put it closer to the price i was given as 5k is nothing really, however still like for like a little cheaper back then i'd bet. I'm surprised more didn't take advantage as £4-500 a month for an £82k motor is an amazing deal.
Extra 10K miles is £1080. So in my case total with options will be 13.5K. But I don't know how many miles I will clock yet, it varies in my case, as I travel mostly for pleasure.

Car was offered through a few brokers and sold out almost immediately. I think circa 50 cars were offered this way. On top of that, number of people called Audi dealers directly. I passed details to two other people from this forum and I know they secured the deals as well. Not everyone is posting on forum.

You can check "How many left" website in a few months, to see how many cars were registered in last quarter. It should show how big was this promotion. https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/audi_s8_v8_t...

Didn't spot that. So even with only 5k pa that's £100net per month lower than these deals. That truly was a giveaway & am amazed i missed them. Saying that i couldn't have benefited but will certainly be seeing what's available on the S8+ (among others) when i look to move on from my M5.

The s8 deals were getting pushed pretty hard in the summer it was hard not to miss them...central leasing done a ton as well as s7's which were around the same price with 21" wheels etc.

I went direct to Audi in Dundee and took 2 S8's at £325 + VAT (they allocated 4 in total) on a 6/23 deal (saying that i must have sent over 20 people to Sytner in London who were offering a similar deal at the time). We ordered one in cuvee silver with brown leather which has been used in a couple of Audi photoshoots because its one of the only cars in the UK in this colour scheme the other car was Argus Brown.

Its an amazing deal but I would say you get them if you keep looking around my car I've just handed back was an SL350 which i leased for £260+VAT and i recall the Maserati Quattroporte being offered for around £320 early 2015 so keep an eye out as when they do come up they go fast!

The push will come from support from the manufacturer and I know Audi are not giving the same £20k support so the prices will be a little higher in Q1 (I've already been asking dealers to notify me should there be any push on the RS7 smile)

Wow, they are amazing deals and I have to say stunning cars.

I'm out of my lease in 3 months and saying bye bye to BMW as had such bad experience. How do you keep your ear to the ground for such prices, are you registering with the large dealer groups ?

Any advice greatly appreciated ....... Should we wait for Q2 😀

I wish the S8 had been launched (deals available)when i had my D4 TDi as by the above figures it was only about £40 net per month more than i was paying. Went for the F10 M5 when it came time to change as the only deals around were the E63 & S6 & neither came close to the overall package the M5 offered.

Looking forward to going shopping later this year, however mind's pretty much made up that the 911 Turbo itch needs scratching now.

Sorry I’m a little confused after reading all of this, are we saying these deals are still out there now? If so can someone post or PM me the best dealer to contact? Thanks smile

They're not out there anymore it seems. One leasing company I spoke to suggested the S8 had been mispriced late last year and it's unlikely to happen again but then again they would say that.

I've not driven the S8 in D4 variant, only the previous incarnations, however i had a 3.0Tdi D4 for 18mths & that was a great car.

On paper the D4 S8 is .2secs slower to 62 than the C7 RS6 & that's with less power & torque (don't forget it's the same engine in both cars, just detuned by about 40bhp in the S8). The S8 is also only 40kgs heavier than the C7 RS6.

Simple man maths (to me) says the S8 although not quite an RS6 is certainly able to hold it's own performance wise, is the more luxurious of the 2 & is being offered for half the physical outlay of the RS6, yet it's OTR cost is nearly £10k higher.
Actually there are many independent test that show that the S8 is actually running the same engine and state of tune (albeit with torque map / transmission programming changes obviously) as the RS6. Most independent tests are finding that the S8 is putting out about 575bhp.....and it feels it!

That is impressive. I was only quoting what's on paper though & am somewhat surprised S8's are hitting number quite that high, however i don't doubt it.

Certainly a weapon & had the deals been about when i got my F10 M5 i could have been swayed, however the best i could get was a basic S6 for the same outlay so the M5 was a no brainer.

No luck. Martin tells me these deals have been stopped about an hour ago as too many orders. I'm wondering whether all that's happening every time I make such enquiries is that I'm just getting mined for marketing data, lol.
