Golf Clubsport now available on www.vw.de

It's been on for a week or so now.

VW still tight lipped on when the UK cars become available.

I wish they'd get on with it - saw that it was available in germany week before last, and all accounts of the launch last year said it was likely to be January. I just want to know what the spec is going to be. From my sub basic german, it appears the home market car is standard with Recaro's, though standard leather is an option

I've had a deposit down since October and still no update. Spoke to my dealer today who said he hopes to have more info towards the end of Q1

I hoped to have the car end of Q1 .....


I can't see why Germany have order slots and the U.K. Doesn't.

Also the German market are only getting DSG. If that's true of the U.K. Market I will get my deposit back.

Are you going with the black roof option ?

Just went for the R as I need it quite soon, and still nothing confirmed for the UK,

Should I have waited? On paper it looks like the only real difference is the AWD, the CS does look better IMO

I just went to check that, as it was very much off my radar. All the launch details said about both options, but maybe its the differentiation in local market - I notice that their standard spec is very different to ours - and you can opt for now air con to make it lighter...

I'd be going for either full red or full grey, not the contrasting roof.

If this isn't available with a manual, then I'll take another look at either the Cupra or S1, or maybe neither, sigh

I just wish that VW UK would get on with it

Checked with my dealer yesterday and they're aware it's coming however also have no details on it as yet.

German configurator now shows a manual option chaps. Quite right too, VW would be mad not to offer this car with a manual 'box.

Some nonsense has just popped up on twitter from VW UK wanting help to name the clubsport alloys... so that'll be what's holding up the launch then.

Well I knew the seats wouldn't last..... From the video above it looks as if they have swapped out the racing seats and recovered the standard seats.

At 1:55 you can see the white car has buckets...

I never expected them to be standard to be honest. I think they'll be a £1500+ option.
