Sorry to resurrect a slightly older thread.

I've just ordered an Avant Sport and have a couple of questions...

- Can anyone confirm that the sport comes with front sensors (as well as rears) as standard? The photos of the white avant earlier in this thread looks like a sport but doesn't seem to have front sensors (Thought they came standard as part of the park plus pack)?

- Also, the sport comes with the 10 speaker Audi sound option as standard, can anyone confirm where the subwoofer is located please? When looking at the sport model at the dealership, I looked in the boot in the spare tyre well (where I thought it would be) but couldn't see anything. Normally it sits on top of the spare wheel but on this the wheel was outside edge up (if that makes sense)

Thanks in advance...
I have a 5 month old Avant Sport. It has front and rear sensors as standard. The subwoofer is in the 'forward' part of the boot floor and is inaccessible.
Not the most powerful sub in the world, but it does the job. Certainly sounds better than the standard system - but it's a patch on the Bose or B&O.

How is everyone doing with their leases?

Has anyone serviced theirs yet?

I'm a bit confused as to when to service ours as it was running on variable servicing but then went in to get a spare key reprogrammed and they switched it to annual which I'm not happy about.

Ours was Delivered March 2016 and now has 15700 miles on the clock. Any idea when to service?

Thanks

Yep, mine is set to the same service schedule. I will probably hand mine back a month early to save it having to be serviced.

I have had no issues with the car to be honest. I am just trying to find out though how to renew the Audi connect services as mine has expired now. Wouldn't mind extending it until I hand back the car next year.

Itching to change cars though now I have seen the latest deals on the main lease thread!

Just a heads up - if anyone wants there Audi connect service extending contact Audi customer service. I asked how much it would be to renew and they have said they are extending the service FOC for customers. All you need to provide is your reg and they will request the relevant team to extend the connect service. It takes a couple of days.

Doubt you'd get any rebate for handing back a month early, would it be worth doing so unless you had another car lined up ready to go?

Did anyone get quotes for extension of the lease or purchase of the vehicle yet?

AFAIK, you can request such quotes anytime during the final 6 months of your lease.

As far as I know, and I may be wrong here, you have to pay 55% of remaining monthly rentals to terminate early - so terminating one month early is likely to save you 45% of the cost of a months rental plus the cost of the service itself.

I'm 70 miles away from my nearest dealer so avoiding a service would also save taking a day out to go get it done.

When I gave my last lease back I returned it one month early - just had to pay 50% of the rental but I saved on the servicing cost. Thats exactly what I will do with the Audi but will have to make sure my replacement car arrives at the correct time.

I've ordered one. 1.4 Avant Black Edition with one of the packs that brings the hill hold, reverse camera, fancy parking aids and the B&0 sound system.

Those that have had one for a year or so, do you still see 50mpg ish on a long motorway run?

Not sure if you ever got an answer to your question elsewhere, but I just got an extension quote in for my 1.4 Manual A4 Avant Sport. For comparison, my original deal was:

6+23
£175
6kpa
no options and dealer, so no fees

Extension quote, with 8k for final year as I am going to be slightly over is:

£392.44 pm, plus £60 admin!!!

Easy decision really, time to pick a new car! Think I'm going for another 1.4 A4 Avant as some good lease prices about. Just can't decide between a Manual Black Edition, or S-Tronic S-Line (both about same price). Any advice/thoughts welcome!

I’ve gone for the Avant Black Edition in Daytona grey. With the sound and comfort pack. Should be all the car I need

Warning though if you order one: there seems to be delays. I ordered a lease in mid October with dealer telling lease company it should be with us at end of December. I’m now told it won’t be built until week 5 Jan 29th. So will probably wait until 18plate now for delivery. Lease company prefer the 18 plate so when I give it back after two years they should get a bit more money for it.

Daytonapearl grey paain’t
19inch rotor alloys
Black Edition
Bang and Olufson
Reversing camera
Auto hold Hill
Fancy keyless boot open where you can wave your leg under it
Extended interior LED pack

Im doing 20k a year

How is everyone getting on with their leased A4s? I handed mine back a month early to avoid the need for servicing the car. I think I got a little bored at the end with the 1.4 litre engine even though the ride was comfortable enough. Hand back was straightforward, I arranged for inspection and collection with BCA on consecutive days as the car was in mint condition. There were no charges at all for damage.

Replaced it with an M140i Shadow Edition. I had an M135i before the Audi and missed it too much! laugh

They coming to check mine March 19th, then collect it week after.

Supposed to be replacing that with the cheap VRs deal - which is an utter shambles of a deal so far!

I don't know as mine is being delivered on 5th March - £6k total over 2 years / 20k miles for a 1.4 S-Line Avant as a commuting car. Not sure I have made such a good choice, time will tell. At least it's manual ! Tbf, at that kind of money, you can't grumble !

I'm coming to the end of my lease and the car has been brilliant for the day to day grind.

Not going to win any traffic light grand prix, but not sure why people expect it to either. What it does, it does well and I will def miss mine.
