Very nice in white. That's the colour I wanted but for all my trying, I wasn't able to change once I had my urano grey quote. I'll still be delighted when I get it next week but I think the white looks better.

Mines being delivered next Tuesday. Still new to sort the insurance out and sell my current car.

Looks fantastic in white!

I had a near miss yesterday down a country road (not sure how close it was in reality) and the dash went absolutely ballistic with this red warning system. You'd have thought the car was about to completely give up!

You can turn some of the driver aids off in the menu. Am currently loving the adaptive cruise control - just need to learn to trust it completely. It's very eerie when it breaks from 60mph to a complete standstill! eek

May well do that, I guess the front sensors deemed the other car being too close. No damage to the car so it can't have been too close to warrant that drama.

One thing with the dynamic cruise control in eco mode is getting back up to speed is very slow. I used eco mode for an 80 mile journey and it was painfully slow getting back up to the target speed, I found myself accelerating rather than letting the car do it.

The sat nav is pretty poor, I don't see why car companies don't partner with google/tomtom for example. The interface and functionality is light years ahead.

The ACC acceleration speed is determined by your mode. So if you drive in eco then it will be painfully slow. It's OK in normal mode although it doesn't stop thrusting executive types in their Audis barging in front of you - well done to you sir on the m62 this morning - I'm sure your journey was soooo much more important than mine!! clap

Mine was built w/c 9th May, arrived in the UK yesterday morning. No delivery date yet, all the pics and reports of people receiving their cars is making me impatient!

I had a decent drive yesterday - sometimes it seems to have a mind of its own though - all I need to do is steer with the ACC on, but random things keep happening.

It also talks to me - telling me I should shut the window as I get onto the motorway, reminding me to take my phone with me etc etc.

I usually go through the manual, but I am crazy busy with work at the moment I have not looked at it once yet - I only found the driving mode button by chance, as it is hidden behind the DSG gear stick when in drive......

I get a warning message to check the smartlock everytime I get out, no idea WTF that is about...

Smartlock is their version of deadlocks. One plip on the fob engages it so you can't operate the door handles from inside. Two plips locks the car but not the deadlocks. Presumably if you lock the car with occupants inside then they can get out.

Please keep posting bad points so it makes me feel better about not getting one!

The nav (my missus has same in her Tiquan) was one of the things that initially made me think "nah" when I saw the offer. The system in my 12yr old Merc works better.

I don't know if anyone has cracked it in Alltrack, but you get Google traffic flow if you connect to a phone by wifi through CarNet. However the pain is the wifi doesn't reconnect automatically - on her iPhone you have to open the mobile hotspot and reconnect manually each time. It's just too much of a faff.

Is that just the USB dongle, or a mifi router?

There's an Android app called Tasker (about £2) that you can program [on event > do this]. I've set it so when it connects to the bluetooth it starts the mobile hotspot. If there's an Apple equivalent that might be worth a look.

I think the iPhone wifi hotspot turns itself off if it isn't connected to any device for a certain period of time. You have to turn it on and off again to get it going again.

The messages such as close the window is 'eco tips' can be switched off via setup.

Smartlock isnt a warning as such, its reminding you that if you leave any passengers in the vehicle and lock it, they wont be able to open it from the inside.

Is there a way to turn off the nav voice with out having to go into the setup menu and turn the volume down? If I know where I am going I still like to have the route on in nav so it can warn of traffic etc but I don't want it interrupting the radio every 5 seconds.

The traffic is nowhere as accurate as the Apple maps or Google maps app, I have enabled Car Net which I thought downloaded Google traffic, but I can't tell if it is doing anything.
