I read too about the JB1 box but couldn't actually see where to buy one??
http://burgertuning.com/ - Direct from the states seems to be the best option.

Did you just go to the retail side of the dealer? Think all of the cheap deals were achieved by talking with the business lease team at the dealership in question. Retail won't offer the discount business leases do.

Hatch deals are not as good as the estate either at the moment.
Nah, I contacted the Fleet teams.

Well my Night blue estate arrived at the dealership a few weeks ago and I took delivery of it this morning. Absolutely delighted with it.

I've spoke to Holly (fleet) at Listers too and she said they can't determine how Vehicle solutions are getting it so cheap (they can't match). Looks like we best just stump up the admin fee!

3+23 £268 (£360 fee) 3dr DSG with Lapiz, Nav and winter pack is still a good price right?

I've not been following 3rd/5rd deals as closely because I wanted and have secured the estate. However, I'm sure most of them were in the area of £350 last time I checked so, £305 amortised for 3dr DSG in premium colour looks like a stonker. To put that in perspective, my £1500 + £215 estate deal amortises at £297 with the Lapiz added.

If it's a 3dr you are after I'd pull the trigger on that right away.

Cracking car, that's the colour I'm going for, just on a hatchback. Why do you have to wait so long once it reaches the dealer on it being delivered?

I signed up via Lookers VW in Preston with Mark in Fleet sales, he would match the Vindis price, not seen any mention of admin fee...?

£1500 deposit, £242 a month for black on an estate.

Finance sorted, car ordered, just got to wait to see if a car has been allocated after it was reserved on Monday.

Looks like Vehicle savers no longer have any Lapiz Blue 3doors frown

EDIT: They do, but it's an extra £24 a month!? Was it never included in the 3+23 £268 price?

No, Lapiz Blue is a special metallic colour. Only the standard metallic colours were included.

Because my current Golf R is not due to go back till the end of this month so they kindly held off delivery

egoold, what are the wheels like in real life? I'm not sure I'm overly keen on them but not enough to replace them I doubt. I wonder if they might look better with spacers?

Having the finance accepted is the confirmation that you have secured the deal offered, the rest of it is down to the dealer assigning your order to a factory build, which is the acceptance bit you refer to. Nothing to worry about.

I came out of my A4 1.4 Sport lease for this Golf R deal. Had a bit of a fight getting the dealer to release my £1k holding deposit, but all sorted and managed to get in right at the last knockings with VW Lancaster Loughton. Originally emailed them and ended up getting a call from Wendy the fleet manager for Essex who sorted me out a great deal.

I did everything over the phone (can't emphasis enough how much better this is) and ended up with £960 down and 23x £235 with only the Car-Net added to the spec. I've not had the Order Number through yet...

Delivery is expected end of June.
£960 down and 23x £235 - Is this for a golf r ??

What was the process for coming out of your A4 lease and what were the costs involved if you don't mind me asking?

I'm thinking of doing the same thing.

The standard Cadiz wheels look miles better on the night blue R than they did on the Lapiz blue R. The Lapiz blue car has been running on 19" BBS CH and they suit the R brilliantly and fill out the arches

I just ordered a Golf R Estate in White... now the wait begins.

But I will buy some fitted seat covers to protect the car from children and a big dog.

Thinking of ordering some of these seat covers... cheaper than the leather option on VW's anyway :-)

Did anyone go for the hatchback deal via Vehicle Savers? Did you find it slow going? Maybe it's normally a slow process (this is my first lease) but I went for it yesterday lunchtime, I only received a call from the lease company this afternoon. Now I've got to wait (up to 24 hrs) on an email with some electronic paperwork, once I return that, I then have another potential 24 hr wait on the finance being done.

Will the BBS go on the estate? Not will they, but will you be putting them on.

Yes, this was for the estate on the original deal in April. A few others got it even cheaper but I wasn't going to try and mess about for £100 here or there. I've had the car 3 weeks now.

I came out of the A4 lease before I picked it up, so I had nothing to pay under the "distance selling" legislation (or whetever it's called now). Dealer gave me the money back within a few days.
