Mine had a build date of 15th August and just found out it has arrived in the UK. It will be ready for delivery after 12th September. I went for the estate in Lapiz Blue, £940 down + £265 a month.

Couldn't spec any extras but really wanted Car-Net App-Connect. Can this be retrofitted?

Same date, mine showing as ready for transit.

Who did you get yours from? Total cost of £7035 trumps my total cost by £100.

Bottom of page syndrome, I missed your reply, sorry.

Need to rethink my figures then maybe.

I currently have a Golf R that's due to go back in March 17, I seem to remember seeing posts about VW finance re jiggling monthly payments if the mileage was not going to be reached!
At this moment in time I am 12,000 miles under my allocation, any help with this would be appreciated.

Is this a good deal? 3 door R black GSD navi nappa heated seats.

£511/month. Nil deposit. 15,000 miles/pa including business use. Two years. Includes all servicing, tax, insurance. Just add fuel.

Thanks.
£720 for the extra mileage over the normal 10k that the Golf R lease deals have been at. Servicing approx. £400 over the two years. Maybe £600 with that mileage. VED normally included.

Leather is how much as an option? Navigation and heated seats is standard now I gather.

It does seem like a hell of a lot of money for pretty much just insurance over tthe stuff I've mentioned above. My insurance was only £434. And I'm only 24 in an okay area... I would say that's at least £3k more than anyone would want to pay for what you've specified above.
Took the leather off, down to £487. Nil deposit mind.

I've just spoken to them this morning. They said that any amendments must be carried out 6 months prior to the end of the contract period, apparently. They will be sending me through a quote based upon my TOTAL contract mileage but to extend by a further year. So 20k over three years, rather than two years as is. Well worth giving them a call, they're extremely helpful from my experience.

Yup they're pretty decent.

I had 10k added to my R for £300 and 20k to my dads £ for £550 odd.

Just did a LiveChat on the VW website and they told me that my R Estate that was scheduled for build this week (and still is according to their website tracker) will now be delayed. It is in the build queue but will likely take another "week or two" before it is built frown Nothing more specific than that. FFS

That will apply to me too then ("Build confirmed for week beginning 29/08/2016").

Anyone else order off of vehicle savers and national a few months back?

On the 24th August I was told the car is due to be built week 41 with a view to delivery week 45.

So mid Novemeber delivery, which is a months delay. Anyone heard more who's been through them as well? I have a feeling based on other relplies here that this is looking to be subject to further delays.

My order (#65) was showing in build, as was the order before (#64) but both have been like that for 2 weeks now whilst the Order numbers before (#63) and after (#66) have moved to in transit.
All had the same build week (15/08/16).
Any ideas why these 2 orders seem stuck? Website glitch or orders stuck at the factory as part of the delays?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but where do I start....

Originally had a build week as week 36 w/c 05/09, with vehicle due for delivery last week in Sept. I then heard about the issues at factory through various forums so contacted my fleet provider who said they had heard rumours but nothing confirmed (19/08); emailed them with links confirming the news and no response. Collected my MK7 GTD from service 24/08 and dealer confirmed there were delays, called broker who then confirmed yes there are delays and build week now pushed back at least a month to b/w 40. At that point I hadn't even had an official email confirming this. Support from fleet/broker has been poor from the outset and they have clearly known about this situation for weeks and have sat on the info. Pretty furious about this was committed to selling my 2014 GTD to a dealership last weekend as they wanted it before the plate-change and am now going to be left without a vehicle for what looks like at least 2 months probably more. So have had to go down the road of buying, taxing and insuring a cheap Skoda Octavia estate to tide me over; asked the provider for compensation but they are not interested.

However, when I was in the dealership selling my GTD, they stated they had been told by VW there are no delays to orders placed in last 4 weeks; contradicts what other dealership and the fleet provider have told me; also fleet provider have denied me the SLI and order numbers so I cannot track the order myself or contact VW directly. It also seems that people that have ordered their vehicles with VW directly are having vehicles progressed through the system ahead of fleet/lease-orders and also orders placed after mine appear to be getting processed faster with earlier build-weeks and quoted delivery times.

And just recently, a post on another forum stated, "VW Germany and UK clearly in total chaos. Rumours persist that any G7R ordered in the UK from July or August 2016 onwards will now not be delivered until Q1 2017". Now awaiting clarification on where this information was source and how reliable it is but does not bode well. There are several thousand Golf R hatches/estates in order just from UK alone.

Mine was ordered first week of July and is in transit (and has been for 7-10days) according to the VW tracker

Is your an order from a dealer or lease ? As I mentioned, it would appear that orders direct from a dealer are being progressed far quicker than lease vehicles; for example my car was ordered the week after you and as mentioned originally wasn't meant to be built until w/c 05/09 and has now been put back to w/c 03/10. Delivery will then be 3-4 weeks after that so into November earliest and that's assuming no further delays.

Yeah via VW Bedford rather than a seperate lease co.

Intrigued on the delivery question above, whats the cost to have it delivered on a transporter? Call me fussy but I want to be the first person to drive it for any distance 👍

Delivery and collection is free as part of my lease terms; delivery is either by transporter or by driver depending on supplying dealership and distance from dealer to delivery address but I have specifically requested delivery by transporter as I want to be the first to drive the car. However, I have been told that delivery drivers are mostly retired, some ex-police officers etc.., so would probably take care of a high-end car but have gone for the transporter option to remove any risk of someone thrashing it for potentially 350+ miles or more to my address.

Ok thanks, I thought I read that <100 miles is transporter, above that driver but I may be mistaken. I would rather get the train down to the dealer and pick it up I think than have a retired plod fart and drop donut crumbs in it 😉.

In seriousness I assume they discount the delivery mileage from the allowance if its driven?
