Looks a cracking deal. I'll pull the trigger if similar for hatchback
I think only Estate R and Hatchback GTI prices have been dropped.

Thanks For Confirming, Neva Direct offered me a better deal for 10K Mileage Annually Which CVL Couldn't Match.

For 5K Mileage CVL are the cheapest out there atm Which I could find.

Do you know what the excess mileage rate is? I'm tempted to cancel my order and lose the admin fee as it will work out cheaper...

With Maintenance its : 12.48PPM and without Maintenance: 11.88PPM.

See Breakdown Below:

Duration: 24 Months
Processing Fee: £180
Annual mileage: 10K
Initial rental: £2757.60 = 9 Months With Maintenance / £2646.00 Without Maintenance
Excess Mileage: 12.48PPM With Maintenance / 11.88PPM Without Maintenance
23 Monthly Rentals of: 306.40 With Maintenance / 294.00 Without Maintenance

I Opted To Get The Vehicle With Maintenance As I Found This Cheaper In The Long Run.

Sorry, I meant for CVL, your deal works out at £9588 (without maintenance) which seems a bit high considering the deals that have surfaced today.

For example, uchoose have a Golf R Estate 7.5 on a 3+23 @ £306 for 10k miles - http://www.uchoosecontracts.co.uk/volkswagen_golf_...

Comes out at about 8k.

CVL Was the Same at 11.88PPM With The Current 5K Deal, Not a Big Fan of The Estate Prefer The Hatchback All The Way.

Ordered an R estate in white, totally standard spec today.

Comes in at £7422 over 24 months on 8k miles

Best deal I've seen in a long time. Sure it will now be soundly beaten, but at that money, I'm happy.

I'm just putting pen to paper on the VWFS proposal form for the same deal that comes in at £7415 so beaten you by £7. However, I do have to cancel the one I ordered last week which is going to cost me £300! Still works out miles cheaper!

My current lease is with VWFS, finishes in December. I'm wanting to replace it with a Golf R. However, can you only place an order now if you're wanting it to be delivered in this quarter? I do plan on phoning them to ask, but just wondered if anyone else has experience of this.

You need to ask. I doubt it will be this quarter given the likely lead time but it may be by the end of Q2

The Stable Vehicle Contracts offer states delivery before 31-12-2017. Therefore you might be okay, but it will depend on the finance provider.

Be careful if you folks decide or plan to remap your Mk7 or Mk7.5 Golf Rs. Failure rates for the turbos are now approaching 5-10% for stage 1, 2 and 3 remaps. That is an extremely high failure rate. So, tread carefully, and do yer research.

I really can't see why you'd need or want to remap one of these, ample power as standard! And maybe slightly harsh but if you're dumb enough to remap a lease car you deserve to get slapped with a big bill.

If leasing I'd fit a jb1 or jb4 instead
