I got the 5a text on Wednesday 18th. I presume the tracking may be a bit behind.It's probably on a boat or has been loaded onto a boat and just hasn't been scanned yet.
Hopefully it gets here soon!

How did you sneak that order through!?!?The lady at VW basically put my name down against one of the cars, but I was a bit slow with the emails going back and forth so it was the day or two after the deal had been withdrawn that I finally sent back the forms. I thought I might have lost out actually.
Considering she said 12-14 weeks lead time I'm quite excited it's already arrived!!

5a Shipped - means it is no longer on the production line but is still at the factory awaiting to be loaded to a train to the port
5b In Transit: Shipping - means it is now at the port awaiting loading to a ship
5c Nearly There (or whatever it says) - is on the boat
Add to this the fact that the tracker texts are out of sync a little (they always seem to be 1 day behind which is fair enough) and sometimes you skip come of the steps, and it is only a guide.

Yep, but the wording on the texts is a bit misleading, so you are never quite sure where the car physically is. I initially though when I got the 5b text on 20/5 that my car was en route, but this is now what I think they all mean:

I'm in Bucks, hopefully mine is already on a boat 
I'm one day behind you. I'm hoping it ships tomorrow, then will get the stage 6 text on Monday 30th. It to land at the dealership by 6th June and ready to collect by 13th June. Or I'm being way too optimistic and it won't arrive until the 1st of July.
