I still haven't seen a single R Estate yet. The one I had delivered was the first and only one I've ever seen and that includes VW dealerships.

As a side note does anyone find the stop-start system is really sensitive? Mine sometimes turns off when I'm still doing like 1-2mph coming to a halt which is a bit annoying in traffic so I've started to just turn it off.

Got mine this afternoon. Lovely. Good first drive home from MK - 65miles on it now and have just completed a very subtle (and reversible) mod - can you spot one of them?

Yes, look quite nice front, rear and sides I think? Will see how they wear with me.

Got some official VW blinds to go in the rear and I will order a boot liner this week - no more spend on it after that, just petrol (probably too much of it!)

Fitted my blind set today (snagged an official new VW set from eBay for £60) - quality item and gives a great, deeper black, stealth look to the rear windows and tailgate.

You can take the windows down too and they stay in place.

You can spec a 90% tint at the factory I think? But my poverty spec R only came with the standard 60% - this takes them to pretty much 100%

I have not taken my daughter out yet with them in - she will have something to say about the gloom I am sure
