Intermittent drivers door central locking

Hi All,

Looking for some advice. My drivers door (57 plate A6) locks all the time, but only unlocks 50% of the time. Audi want £440 to replace a control unit, I suspect it's something as simple as a loose connection. Any recommendations in the Windsor area of someone who can fix instead of replace?

Not Windsor, but I had mine done at, strangely enough, my local BMW independent.

It was my passenger door, and I can't remember the price we paid, but it was nowhere near that amount.

I'll see if I can find the thread when I asked for advice, it might have pricing on it.

Timely. The passenger door sometimes doesn't unlock on our B6 Estate.
