Just had a spin in a friends new GTE - very nice actually.
Interior, toys etc similar to our Golf R (except horrible chequered seats - yuck)
Impressive quiet pick up of the leccy motor when pulling off and pootling
Nice changeover to a rorty (is there such a word) 1.4 TSI petrol engine. 204 bhp ish combined
Kers like charging etc.
Actually liked it and was quite impressed.
30K+ though.
