I currently have an F10 M5 LCI, I made the mistake of borrowing an RS6 for the weekend from my friendly Audi dealer.

Very impressive car the only issue I have is that the deals are not in the same ballpark as M5's or E63's, has anyone managed to find any sensible offers, akin to the S8 deals of a couple of months back ?

Thanks

Michael

Yep huge thread on it here: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Summary

15.5% off PCP = c.25k down at £520 PCM for a £89k car as an example.

Lease deals - Nothing good

You won't get S8 type deals on a RS6. The above is the best that is available.

I did much the same.

RS6 is around £10k more expensive than the M5 once all the deals have been done. M5 deals were mega, Audi not so good. I got something like 15.5 - 16% off my RS6 but was not easy.

Did you end up playing dealers off against each other ? What dealer did you end up going with ?

Yes I did. Searched with car-wow (I think it was) then pushed dealers to beat other quotes. I ended up going with Aberdeen Audi (which is a first for me, they would never deal before) as they beat every other dealer. I guess partly because of the oil down turn up here.

as a rule, if the audi model starts with RS then you can forget discounts and deals! S yes, RS no.

I rang west London Audi and said are you doing 15.5% of an RS6? they said yes, 1hr later I had bought a car. Try Mo at West London Audi

(Although Whitton Audi were a waste of space earlier in that morning face to face)

I spent half an hour wandering around Aberdeen Audi recently. Despite turning up in a £95k car - I know it should not help but it can - and the place being empty, no one could be bothered to try and sell me anything.

RS6 you can get 15.5 ish off on pcp's . carwow and dealers are easy to get to agree.

DRmark hows the twin beast going? Im up to 3500 miles now and enjoying completely. Still look back and go whooo hooo baby. smile

like the comfort suspension and switching on between D and S on the transmission and then manual on the paddles.

Given the state of oil, they probably thought you were trying to return it / chop it in for an old A3.

Could be! Unfortunately the new showroom did open at the wrong time. Thankfully I am not in oil but hard times for many that are.

Fab car. 7500 miles so far, fantastic all rounder - and 22mpg average since new (not good but considering ...)

Potentially in the market for one of these.

I see a few places offering lease deals now in the £800-850 per month range (3 + 23 with 10k miles pa) - all of these seem to be the bog standard spec with zero options.

I also see there are some RS6 605bhp models turning up in the classifieds with discounts.

Is the 605bhp model the latest one??....and does the plethora of deals and cars in stock mean that a new model is around the corner?

There is a new A6 due out in 2017 (model C8).

RS models always follow later and it will probably be 2018 before the next RS6 is available.
