Hello folks.

I've had my Citigo for a week now, and wanted to switch on cornering fog lights on the front as I think they're really useful.

Apparently this can easily be done with VCDS, but because it's a brand new car, I don't want to invalidate the warranty.

So will using VCDS invalidate it or?

Thanks.

Do the cornering fog lights actually do any good, a bit of a gimmick in IMHO

I switched mine off - they are about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike IMO.
Also got fed up with folk telling me only one was working.

And no, I can't see how using VCDS will invalidate your warranty.
Just be sure to do a scan and save the output before you change anything.

If it's fitted to the car and wired up, a simple tick box in VCDS is hardly going to invalidate the warranty. It's probably also configurable via the menu in the clocks too?

It's like invalidating a new home warranty because there's a radiator in the garage, all plumbed in and ready to use. Just need to turn the valve on.
