looks like i found the culprit of my losing coolant issue.

its definitely damp on it and the chassis leg below it..

Straight forward swap or anything to be wary of ??

First, look at the rubber hose nearby. It rests on a long bolt that protrudes vertically out of the chassis leg. Check it hasn't chafed through.

Or rubbed through on back of the head and running down the outside of the pipes

well i found the culprit.

It wasn't the bolt. but I put a iva cover on it to make sure it wont be an issue.
It was the pipes rubbing on the head ,they have been tied out the way previously

Changed the heater valve and been fine since not lost a drop, the crimp that holds upper and lower sections was weeping. ordered one for AUS for £22 ,changed spring loaded clips to stainless jubilees too.
