Which garage to use for repair of leased vw

Hi. Someone thought it would be a good idea to drive into our leased scirocco R so I'm in the process of getting it repaired.

Does anyone know if I have to use an approved VW dealership for the repairs? Or can I just use the insurers recommended garage (which will use official parts)?

May be worth asking the lease company?

Otherwise, I'd have thought VW approved.

Make extra sure the job is done properly otherwise you'll get billed at the end of the lease for poor quality repair. Doesn't necessarily need to be VW Approved, just done properly!
