Sat Nav SD Card Update

I am trying to update the nav maps (to 2016) on the sd card for my Discover Media unit for my Van, however, the file is in two large downloads.

I have downloaded the files, unzipped and copied them to a 32gb Class 10 SDHC card (as recommended by the Nav website, but they will not work. The reason i am using a new SD card, rather than updating the VW card is so that if i do have problems, i'm not left without Nav if i try to restore the originals!

So, i looked at the supplied VW nav SD card at the files listed, and copied the exact files to the card but still no luck.

Has anyone done theirs or had similar probs and resolved them?

Have you checked the file format of the original card?

Yes, it is formatted to FAT32, which i did on the new card.

I read some where that users where having issues with street names not appearing, and someone formatted it ExFat and that seemed to work for them. (However for Nav Pro, there is only one file).

The tricky bit is that there are two files to download and unzip, which i did (FAT32) and copied them all but no luck.

I then copied the main file (biggest) but still no joy!

Here maps are next to useless as they have no point of contact at all.
