1+23 @ £249 per month including VAT - £5,976 all in. 19.2% of ROTR (although it can be argued you can get big discounts between 10-15%).
Are you able to share where this one is from pal?
Hi bud,

Yep - Adam or Phil at SEAT IMG in Warrington - 01925 428730.

Any colour too. Mileage the usual 6p (excluding VAT) per mile as it's with VW Finance directly.

I'm not sure I've seen a Cupra Black any cheaper?

Thanks, C.

Just placed an order for a Cupra Black DSG in Alor Blue, 6k miles p.a. for £266 per month on a 1 + 23 profile. Metallic paint included. 12-14 week lead time.

Feels like a decent deal. Really wanted the DSG box.

Don't want to go too off topic but what does everyone think the theft risk is like with these?

I live a couple of miles from a large city centre, it's not a bad area it's just it's not far from bad areas (like any city anywhere really!).

My driveway is both a godsend and a nightmare, it's kinda hidden at the bottom of my garden, so nobody can see it.....including me!

Definitely under the radar compared to the Golf R given the theft reports I've read which puts me off one.

I was wondering the same thing actually. Although I live in a decent area, I wondered if there would be any benefit in debadging it, and how easy that might be to do.

Exactly the same thoughts here based on all the GolfR/S3 thefts.. I even chose a "boring" colour to draw as little attention as possible.

As said above, at least it looks very innocuous. remove the cupra lettering off the back and people would be non the wiser unless they knew the FR didnt have twin exhausts.

It's the one reason I never have had an S3 or R, my wife is the main user of the second car so would hate for anything bad to happen with people pulling her and the kids out.
I live in a village just north of Birmingham and 5 miles from Tamworth, so not too high risk but they turn the street lights off at night to save money, burglaries have gone from zero to several over the last 12 months, no reports of cars being jacked though.

I had a MK LCR on my drive for 3 years never had problems and I have fairly decent company cars, 2 nights ago I left both windows down on my A5 by accident and it was still there when I got up, the wife never locks the currently FR, I have to flick the key when I go to bed to make sure.

I've got a fairly decent visible security system which we use, but this week I just changed my euro locks to Anti bump ones and reduced the profile of them to help with snapping them, I did this purely because of getting the 290, i don't care about the car its the people in my house with the kids that bothers me.

Golf's and aidi's may be stolen to order. I doubt many people would look twice at the cupra let alone steal it. Another bonus for the cupra.

Still, could happen I suppose.

Thanks for the heads up.

No worries buddy. Suited me better because of the increased mileage, although the deal posted above based on 8k mileage would still work out slightly cheaper if the additional mileage cost remained at the 7.2p (inc VAT) as it is with SEAT/VW direct.

Either way, I think most people are getting a fantastic deal on a fantastic car. Most reviews I've read or watched always try the Cupra first not expecting too much from it and it surprises them straight away and often posts lap times either beating the rivals or being a few tenths off. The latter was against a Civic Type R and the former against Golf R's and Megane 275 Cup-S, etc.

Also based on the above, this is exactly my reason for getting one - In Monsoon Grey as well. Very understated indeed and unless you knew what you were looking at, you could mistake it for a Leon FR or lesser. Great specification as standard, awesome seats (certainly when compared to the R), understated and will surprise a lot of people.

That's £30 per month cheaper than the deal I've got, so may contact them tomorrow and enquire about this. My finance proposal has been accept by VW, but obviously nothing has been submitted to the factory as that is currently closed so may be able to cancel....

Also, I was told that 3 door Cupra Black's weren't available anymore? Hmmm...

I've had my Golf R for a year and a half and despite living in a very low crime rate area I have to admit that theft has always been in the back of my mind. It's mainly because nearly every reported theft I've seen on the forums has involved the thieves breaking into the house to get the keys. Which becomes a concern when you have a wife and kids at home. Most people that have had them stolen have been told by the police that the R is the getaway car of choice (there have been very few thefts of 3 doors). Back doors, decent boot, fast, 4wd.... It's like it's designed for the job.

I think I'll sleep a little better having the Cupra on the drive.

Nor could I on their website. The original poster - Helicopter123 (on the main leasing thread) says he got an email with them all on. I'm ringing Central UK tomorrow to discuss. Hopefully it's not a click bait......

Just realised a school boy error, the £219.99 is plus VAT making it more expensive than the 1+23 @ £249 I already have agreed.

This deal is £219.99 + £44 (VAT) = £263.99 p/m or £6,335.76 over the term vs. £5,976.
