So I updated all tags to v2.3 using iTunes and set all the art to front cover using Mp3tag. Interestingly my files have doubled in size! Disappointingly the album art still doesn't show for all albums. I'm not beat yet though, now that I know a bit more about it and have Mp3tag to help I'll investigate some more...
Maybe there's a size limit for the files? (for example 400x400)

I don't have my car yet but it will annoy me too so please share if you manage to solve it.

All fixed now. Basically I used Mp3tag to check every album to see if album art was showing. If it wasn't then the utility can find it for you and add it. Took a couple of hours to work through but worth it.

One more night to go....

Golf R being collected by BCA at midday tomorrow, Leon should arrive by 3pm.

Insurance wise - I have changed the Golf R policy to the Leon and I have a cashback coming of £33 which equates to an annual premium of approx £360.
Please share your first impressions once you get it as i'm making the same move.

Completely ignoring the good advice given by someone here I never chased BCA to pick the Golf up. So after a week of waiting I called them on Monday only for them to say the earliest they can collect is the 20th. With the Cupra being delivered on the 14th that presented a bit of a problem as i'd be contractually obligated to insure both cars. Thankfully Gary at DM Kieth passed me the details for using their 5 day drive away insurance so it looks like i'll have a week with both cars at my disposal. SO from a bad situation to quite a good one.

In contrast to CVL I only have positive things to say about DM Kieth. Their communication has been prompt, informative and helpful.

I spoke with Carly today. My car has been on its way to the UK port for a week and a half now. There's a ship expected on Thursday so hopefully our cars will arrive then.

I think you can contact SEAT using your order number and they will tell you which ship its on if you wanted to track it.

I'm hoping it's in Stockport before Christmas because Carly is on annual leave between Christmas and new year.
Hi bud,

Our respective cars were probably on the same ship.

I say probably because I've just received an email from Carly just now to say my car has arrived, so it's officially Status Code 40. I'd imagine your car to be the same.

It's probably 2 weeks now before it arrives at Stockport then a few days for them to prep before I/we can take delivery.

Hopefully its sooner but we'll see.

My BW47 (ordered 9/9/16) car is in the UK, dealer says 1-2 weeks delivery to me.

Was Dynamic Grey, now Nevada White...............still cant believe Seat just changed it, no communication or other colour options.

I could cancel in protest, but they wouldn't care and I wouldn't get anything like as good a deal with anything else.

I assume this is how leasing is? Del boy practices!

Golf has gone......I am now "Car-less"!!

You need to be careful - the 5 day cover is only for retail customers and the registered keeper needs to be you, which it isn't on these leases so you may not be insured at all. I checked this with Lookers a few weeks back.

Boring post alert....

Just looking out the window at the car an noticed sporadic placement of the black covers for the wheel nuts, I doubt that they have been nicked as they would have all gone but wandered if anyone else had noticed the same:

Front Driver: 5 black caps
Front Passenger: 4 Black caps
Rear Driver: 4 Black caps
Rear Passenger: 2 black caps

Just wandered if anyone else had them missing as assumed they would come from the factory with them fitted

Off on the school run - my girls will have a shock!!

I will get it washed, get some super-unleaded in and give it a few miles tomorrow and also grab a photo or 2 to post here.

Nice work...

Still in a holding pattern with mine... Still none the wiser as to when mine is going to arrive. Very close to sacking it off in protest!

Cheers for that info. Double checked and it's fine. Apparently no obligation to be a retail customer or the registered keeper. It's supposedly just all about insurers capturing easy leads for a quote. I also read somewhere that dealers use the 5 day insurance to cover the car so they can tax it. Supposedly dealership insurance covers the car to allow them to tax it.

If there's any other issues I'll just stick one of the cars in the garage.

Hi MOBB, did you also order from Stoneacre? Have you had it confirmed as being in the UK now then? Looking at your order date it was a few days after me. Mine also Dynamic Grey order that is now Nevada White frown

Are the people getting drive away insurance getting it free or having to pay? My dealer said they don't offer it so will have to pay.

It's not getting registered until Friday and pick it up Sunday, we won't have time to sort insurance and can't do it now as it isn't registered.

For people that had their dynamic changed to white and now have their car, did your finance paperwork reflect the colour change or did it still state the original? My mate gets his next Friday and paperwork still says Dynamic despite his order date being 16/09/16 and BW44! Stoneacre still claiming it hasnt been changed...

Carpet ones with a small Cupra flag in the corner.
