The Cupra (Black) Lease thread

I've got to say my experience through CVL has left a lot to be desired so far. I sourced my last lease deal through gateway2lease and (aside from their crap new website) were excellent in keeping me updated on the process and mapped out what happens next.
CVL however have left me in the dark since I signed their order/finance form. I have had to chase several time to be told the same story as the other poster (dont worry, accounts will pass it to the admin team etc). I wasn't particularly impressed by their push of gap insurance either (stating it was an FCA obligation to have offer it and sign as such, it isn't).
All shall be forgiven when I have confirmation from VWFS or whoever that it is actually all in hand
I know what you mean. It feels like you've signed up but still have a niggling feeling in your head and want some proper confirmation/communication. I did have a call from Sytner Volkwagen Finance (I think they were called), just to answer some daft FCA regulatory questions.CVL however have left me in the dark since I signed their order/finance form. Has anyone else had this yet?
Didn't realise the 280 ultimate sub 8 had won Evo track car of the year this year. From around 4:50 on (no doubt more footage at the end, i'm going to watch the rest later)

Does anyone know of ay deals still available on these? I'm after a 5 door DSG 290, flexible on other spec items. my local dealer says stocks are very limited, I have contacted somne online lease companies but had no response at all from them.
Thanks!
I think the DSG model deal is gone now, seems manual is still about although not as cheap as they were, CVL for on is still showing a hal decent price, happy to give you the details of my sales guy in Birmingham, he understands the leasing side unlike some dealers. Thanks!
I follow various groups being a Leon faithful and know last year they had supply issues with Cupra wheels but that was model specific, cant see that being an issue now though, I don't think they get that many orders for Cupras day to day so maybe they cant cope? I cant remember a flash sale on the Cupras before.
FL is due next year, also rumors of a Cupra R, was thinking this might be why they have done the deal on these? or the parts bin is full of bucket seats they cant sell haha so need a clear out

Thanks guys, I have had a couple of responses now from my enquiries, best so far is for £1953 + 23 x £203. I assume the Cupra R is the upcoming 4WD variant my sales guy mentioned, would prefer 2WD personally. What is the FL you speak of?
The Cupra R is just a rumor at the moment, as the previous generation Leons have had an "R" version. The FL is the facelift - the car is due a mid-life refresh in the next 12-18 months.
I'd be amazed if a 4wd Cupra of any description came out. If you look at the price of a Cupra then assume a 4WD version would cost a little bit more, suddenly you have a Golf R spec for Golf R money with a Seat badge on it. Only the biggest Seat fanboy's going are going to buy such a car.
The VAG product hierarchy is a complex and meticulously structured beast.

What mileage? Is there a fee?I have a source @ VWFS and has quoted me for a Cupra ST Black 290 DSG inc Metallic on 8k per year:
1 x £2225 (inc VAT)
23x £240 (inc VAT)
£7745 total but after VAT rebate of £646 nets to £7099
In addition he will give me a £600 (£500 plus VAT) rebate within 14 days of delivery.
Net cost to business: £6599 or £274.96 per month overall.
For 10k its about £150 higher over the term.
He may be able to do something similar for others on both business or private deals - PM me if interested!

I think I read £150 fee somewhere, which I included in the first payment in my initial message above. It's for 8000 miles per annum, incl VAT.
Given how cheap the lease deals are on these I might get one
Whats the delivery time on them is it still 12 weeks or so?
cant risk not having a car, my leased ST goes back in October. Has anyone driven one, is there any tram lining or torque steer with them being FWD?
Have had enough of wrestling with the Focus ST every time I put my foot to the floor. .
