Just ordered a Cupra 290 Black Edition in Ice Silver. Manual for me...cheapo.

On a 1x23 deal so the figures are:

24 monthly payments of £257.50
10,000 miles p/a

That's a good price, I thought VWFS have reduced some of the support for this model now, seems not!

To think I was paranoid I was going to miss out on this deal by waiting 2 days to go to the dealers haha

Just go to their contact us page and ask to change it to 1x23 (if you want what I've got) - knocks the price up a few quid (as their financier is receiving less upfront, fair enough) - but they then split the difference with me, resulted in a £2.50 raise per month to the price shown.

Metallic paint included for free.

Been dealing with Tom from there, very good communication. He says the cupra deals will be re-evaluated in a few weeks, so don't delay!

Cheers. I emailed them yesterday and they needed some details and they asked for a number but i'm in the wilds of Scotland on holiday with dodgy mobile reception but have wifi in the cottage so asked them to email me what they need from me....they then didn't bother replying! frown

Also emailed Carly at Seat Stockport yesterday but no reply.

I'll see how it goes but probably phone on Monday if required when i'm home.

Email tom@carleasespecialoffers.co.uk - he's dealt with my order from start to finish. Obviously you won't get a reply until Monday now, but he's replied within 30 minutes each time. Just tell him 'Jonny' gave you his email so he knows you're not a time waster/knows how you got his direct email.

That's my order forms officially away!

12-16 week delivery quote, I'm sure it'll be closer to 20 weeks.

Saw this near Cambridge on the way back from France on Thursday. Must not be a Black Edition as you can't get a Black Edition in black (odd)

Does anyone know if you can order one in Black? Can't see it on the configurator.

The short answer as far as the 'Black' edition is concerned is no - which is a shame really. I believe you can still order the normal Cupra in black but I have heard many people saying there are supply issues with the standard wheels and of course the spec is a bit lower than the 'Black' plus the lease deals do not seem quite as keen.

Not in the Black Edition. Only the normal Cupra can be ordered in black. The picture I posted 2-3 posts ago is of a normal Cupra ST as it's not available in the Black Edition

Its not possible to order a normal "Cupra 290" now either as they are churning out the last stock before facelift.

Any idea what the excess per mile is?

8.58 from memory. Not as great as the 7.2 from VWFS, but still very, very reasonable. Plus, it's such a good deal for 10k miles I can hardly complain.

I've just had an update on mine, ordered from carleasespecialoffers but info is now coming from Wessex. According to their site the expected delivery is October 13th, I ordered on July 28th, so that's 11 weeks lead time, does that sound plausible?

I just had to send them a scan of my driving licence as ID for the finance, I had previously been told that the finance was all approved so I hope this doesn't mean that they have only just got around to ordering it!

Sounds about right to me, it seems that most orders from July are expected mid October, I ordered 7/7/16 and have been told the same making my lead time 14 weeks, factory is back in tomorrow so you may find that the times come down or extend as a result of the order books!!

Exactly the same for me. I have just 'ordered' but need to wait a few days for my licence to be sent with my correct (new) address on it.

In your 'contract details' on the tracker, is your monthly payment right?

Mine is sitting as:

Date Of Order: 15-Aug-2016
Approximate Lead Time at Order: 17-Oct-2016
Approximate Lead Time: 17-Oct-2016

Will be probably next week before I get my licence back frown

Anyone got any idea yet which dealer CVL are sourcing their cars from?

It also seems im behind the curve on updates from them - not had an update since confirmation the car had been ordered on the 19th Jul (even though i completed the paperwork on the 7th the same time as everyone else)

The lack of updates is due to the Factory being shut at the moment.

Will be re-opening 5th September so hopefully some news soon after!

The lack of updates of any kind is just poor customer service. CVL have been pretty poor since I ordered, certainly haven't earned any of their 'admin' fee
