Given its a lease it isn't yours to modify......I'm not sure it would be picked up in 2yrs on inspection but just be aware!
I have thought of this and only having them wrapped so that when the lease comes to an end I can take it off.

I agree though, not sure it would be picked up on inspection.

It's quite clear on my paperwork any mods to be returned to standard, I wouldn't risk it as they are diamond cut wheels, guy at work has been hit with £2300 of charges for damage and rectification issues on an XF, this was collected by an auction house who noted on paperwork "additional items and changed wheels" although the wheels were only coloured not actually changed.

Charge has arrived several weeks after collection

Just be cautious, I'm not changing anything lol

Evening chaps.

Can anybody tell me when applying the handbrake, do you feel/hear a rubbing noise when pulling it up; along with the clicks. Doesn't matter if I had the brake depressed or not when I do it, but my handbrake is giving a very loud rubbing noise and I can feel the sensation too as I put on the handbrake.

The rubbing noise seems just as loud, if not louder than the clicks.

Wanted to ask people here if it's normal before I take it to SEAT.

Can't say I've noticed Jon. My mum has the car at the moment but she's bringing it back later tonight so I'll check and report back later.

Couple of questions if I may

- if you are listening to music via CarPlay, but have the nav screen up, how do you go back to the CarPlay music screen? I can only get there via phone, CarPlay which seems very long winded

- is there a quicker way to select another driver mode other than pressing the Cupra button multiple times? Like on the M cars? I assume not

- if I got side skirts fitted, would they realistically be removable at the end of the lease? I can't face £600 or whatever it would cost for a lease car, but maybe half that cost if I could sell them on, maybe

Now that I've had it a few weeks I am very impressed. Exceptional car

Yes and No. If you just want to get out of the sport mode on DSG simply pull the DSG selector back and it will go back into Drive.

as for the other settings, No.

Having placed a Leon 290 Black back in September, just wanted to clarify how people are getting on with news of car getting delivered in wrong colour, Dynamic grey ordered, white delivered, I can see the odd mention of this, how common is the problem?, I am massively disappointed by my news and seems to be dragging on with no further resolution from Seat or ordering company on delivery date, car has landed but dragging there heals on how the issue can be rectified....

So I've just checked and when I operate the handbrake up and down it rubs and makes a 'fart' noise kind of like when you sit on a leather sofa and the cushions rub together.

Is this the same noise you're getting Jon?

Just received £250 of high street vouchers through the post, totally out of the blue! There was no letter or note accompying them. If I didn't read this forum I'd have no idea who they were off!

My dealer was one of the first to find out there was a problem with Dynamic Grey. I changed it to Monsoon Grey but never mentioned or pushed for the high street vouchers.

So at the moment I've got a brand new Cupra on the drive and £250 worth of vouchers and haven't paid a penny yet!

Absolutely love the car, fairly thirsty though, feel like I've refuelled loads!

Indicating 30.1 for the first 380 miles, not so bad I suppose?

30.1 is decent I reckon, we are getting about 26 from ours but it does do a fair deal of short runs to school etc

Yeah same for us Nick. 25-28 round town but managed 38 on a long run the day after I got it. Hopefully it'll get better the more it loosens off

has everyone had their initial rentals come out yet? I took delivery of mine on the 21 November and have had no paperwork, no initial rental or monthly rentals taken from my account... :/

Not sure if images will actually upload but had wheels and badges done today and so happy with the outcome. All reversible as well.
