The Cupra (Black) Lease thread
Discussion
Is there no way to see the 'live' tyre pressures?
Ive seen the menu option for setting the system, which appears to want you have the the tyres set at the required pressures on the body label - is this cold or hot tyres/pressures?
If there isnt a way to see the actual pressure reading, i guess you get a warning when the pressures drop below a pre-programmed level?

Yeah, no way of getting tyre pressure reading on the car display as VAG cars still use a rather basic ABS based system to monitor the tyre pressures instead of fancy valve caps etc.
The headlights are borderline for me. The xenons on my mk7 golf were pretty poo so I figure weakish lighting is a VAG thing. One thing with the LED lights is that they are ridiculously blindingly bright when you walk towards the car then from behind the wheel they just don't seem that bright. Think it's maybe just the aim is a bit off, anyone looked to see if they can be adjusted easily?

The only grumble i have so far is the headlights, which are pretty poor. Is it an easy enough job to switch them out for some Bi-Xenons?
Try adjusting them half a turn anti-clockwise http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=4...MOBB said:

Bit annoyed they charge a £50 admin fee to put on/take off a private plate.
Shame they don't accept high street vouchers. lol
I didn't pay it, after some gentle negotiation I made them realise it shouldn't be £50 for the little work they have to put into it!Shame they don't accept high street vouchers. lol

Way back near the start of this thread I noted if I could have the Cupra in any colour it would be Renault Flame Red, then they go and release it in a much similar colour! That does look good value at £285 hopefully it will lead to a few new contributors to the thread.£285/m on a 1+35

Hopefully, I'm waiting to hear back from them on a price for the new AWD DSG Estate. Beefmeister said:

Without knowing if that includes metallic, more than 5k per annum or manual/DSG its hard to say if its a good price. Also you will be in for much more maintenance, tyres and an MOT on a 3 year deal.£285/m on a 1+35

I don't think spec on the new Cupra will be available for another month or so.

If you opened the link you can see it says it's a manual, 5dr on 8k miles. I don't think spec on the new Cupra will be available for another month or so.

The 'more maintenenace' thing is a pointless argument as if you got a 2yr you'd still need to service your next car the following year anyway.
Stable have the ST but on a 6+23 with metallic:
