3 door cupra blacks are all sold now apparently, so I've had to make do with a standard one. Still a good deal though, Less than £6k over 2 years with 10k mile p.a.

I've gone for dynamic grey - bit of a risk as I haven't seen one in the flesh but the dealer said it was the best colour in his opinion.

Can't wait to get it now - delivery 2nd week in October.

Sounds like you've got a cancelled order, you've not been able to order a non black edition Cupra for a while now, and you'll be getting it before mine that I ordered start of July.

Dynamic grey is a great colour

Just a quick one for the people that have ordered form a dealer.

I'm looking at my paperwork and in dealer fitted extras I have the following:

First Reg fee £55
Fuel Charge £16.67
Protection Pack £415.83
12 Months Tax £185

I know this is all bundled into the monthly price and a way to get the salesman his commission up, but does anyone else have these and more interestingly what is the protection pack @£415?

Also Seat called yesterday and said build still w.c 12.9.16 but don't expect to see if before the end of October!!! I questioned this and they said:

"1 week to build then 4 to 5 weeks to ship to the UK and get to the dealer"

I think the protection pack gives you a boot tray, rubber mats and mudflaps.

Are you sure you're not paying for these as extra? You never know, it may knock off £17 odd per month off your rentals if you ask them to remove it.

If it is those things, then it's probably the lease company that have specified them to keep the car in better condition.

Yes, I agree.

Although I wouldn't expect rubber mats in a brand new £30k hot hatch, more suited in a clapped out Fiesta. Guess you can remove the bits upon delivery...

According to the brochure it comes with mats anyway, I cant see any protection pack or anything that equals that amount, I thought it might be an autoglym paint protection that he gets commission from.

I've just scanned it in and i'm going to email him, he'll love that on probably his busiest day of the year, I wont expect a reply any time soon.

Just ordered a Leon Cupra Black Edition 5dr Manual in Dynamic Grey from Stoneacre Seat in Peterborough (http://www.stoneacre.co.uk/dealership/stoneacre-peterborough-suzuki-seat)

Lease deal was:

£249 initial payment followed by 23 payments of £249. Prices include VAT and finance is via VW Finance. Excess mileage is 6p per mile plus VAT (so 7.2p per mile).

I got 10K miles per year for the same rate at 6K (which is shown on their website) and free metallic paint.

I dealt with Jason, who was very good.

Number is 01733 286933.

For those so inclined, the DSG option for the same mileage, colour... etc was 1 + 23 at £286 per month inc VAT.

He mentioned that there are a few in stock, but I've done a factory order as I need to shift my Alpina D3 Saloon (2008, with 69,700 miles if anyones interested smile ) before getting the new motor.

Quick update on this as he called Saturday.

He doesn't know what the charge is, it is just on the order form apparently, it has nothing to do with the price i've been quoted, hmmm

Good news thought its being built this week now not next so may see it before October :-)

Has anyone who ordered from Central heard anything? The last I heard from them was a unconfirmed build week of 37 (12th Sept).

Has anyone who ordered in the past two weeks heard anything? I'm in this position and I've been told that the SEAT factory has just reopened today, although my order still sits at "expected build week TBC" which gives me absolutely nothing.

Probably looking at mid to late November?

Thanks, C.

From Wessex fleet, my car is due to arrive at their ordering dealer mid-November. I ordered early August.

It's not too bad for a factory order, especially when the factory has had 2 weeks of down-time. I'm happy to push mine back as far as possible to balance out some negative equity in my own car!

Got an update(!) today...

Was told that my car has now gone back a stage to Status 00 from Status 10! Been reassured that it's nothing to worry about and it's just because the Factory are currently allocating build weeks following the reopening.

Not overly concerned at the moment, still got my Type R to sell.

Anyone else had similar news?

I'm not sure what status 00 or status 10 means, is that percentage of construction complete? smile

My order, placed with Wessex in last week of July, still shows mid-October delivery on their system. I'm sure at some point it will delayed until the Flumpteenth of Nimtember.

Silly question: having never ordered a new car before, how/where is it delivered? Will a giant transporter turn up at my house? Do I have to get the train to whichever Seat dealer offered my broker the best price? Perhaps the order will be delayed until Santa can load it onto his sleigh for a 24th Decemeber delivery?
