I've had all the official seat lease info through now and you can modify bit it has to be returned to standard when returned and any holes or fittings repaired
Only cosmetic modifications or can you all make engine modifications like remaps? Does it say if mods affect the warranty? Andy 222 said:
Picked mine up this morning. I think I'm the only one getting a 3 door non-black edition so here's a pic
That looks great!I much prefer the wheels on the standard Cupra personally (although the extra kit as standard on the BE makes up for it) and the SC has that slightly sportier look but two kids means it had to be 5dr for me!
How have you found the drive so far?

All 3 miles have been great so far! As soon as I got back we had to go out for the day with the kids and the Mrs declined going in the new car. The excitement doesn't seem to be shared in our household! I've got a 240 mile round trip tomorrow though so I'll know more then.
Lol, know what you mean on the lack of excitement, my OH will be the main driver of the car but is more concerned that Monsoon Grey might look like a 'Grandad' colour than the fact she gets to drive a nice shiny new car. Let us know how the 240 mile trip goes!Nickp82 said:

Be aware that a remap will cause the TD1 flag when the dealer plugs the car in for diagnostics. No way of hiding this and in the case of VW they do refuse warranty work if it's present. I'd guess Seat are the same.
Tuning box is your friend - no flags if removed. Not that I know of course.....

So I had a good 120 mile trip this morning. Seats (no pun intended) and driving position are really comfortable which is great, and that alone makes me pleased I went with this rather than the Golf Gti where I found the seats to be really soft. Steering I found to be a bit twitchy on the motorway, but that might just need a few miles under the belt.
Engine feels really strong though and high-speed refinement is better than I expected.
The one really annoying grip I've got it that I can only seem to enter the first 5 digits of a UK postcode. Anyone know how to add a full 7 digit code?
I heard that this was a problem on older VAG systems but our 2012 Skoda takes the full postcode fine, so really surprised about this.

If you go to enter the Town name, at the bottom left of the keyboard is PTCD (I think) press this and you can enter the postcode. Engine feels really strong though and high-speed refinement is better than I expected.

Cheers boss, I'll give it a go on the way back. What's confusing is that it lets you enter the partial postcode without doing town first...Despite my photo posting efforts I'm not a complete luddite when its comes to this stuff!

Has anybody got Full Link working yet? I've attached my Android phone (Sony Z3+) via USB and it just still says 'connect a phone via usb'. I've tried loads of different USB cables too.
Copied from SEAT Cupranet. Surely it's the same for an iphone as android?seatcupranet said:
When you plug your phone in for the first time you should get this msg onscreen
"Apple CarPlay. New Device detected. would you like to connect with Apple CarPlay?"
Click "connect", then you'll need to enter your unlock code or use the fingerprint unlock, it prompts you to do this.
The Phone will then ask if you want to "Allow AirPlay, CarPlay whilst phone is locked"...Allow.
That should be it.
I use an iPhone 6s with mine, no need to use BlueTooth, although some non-Apple cables can be a bit unreliable. IIRC you can check the cable compatibility by plugging in the phone and then pressing Media button on the infotainment display, if the car is seeing the phone then you'll be able to select your music from there as it will see your phone as a USB device.
