Have you got the android auto app installed?
yep. Seems a bit odd because when I attach the phone it initially starts charging then stops a few seconds later.

Is Full Link any good? My Bluetooth audio works fine.

I'm guessing most of us will have our cars by the end of the year so who's up for a meet in January to compare field notes? I read there's a few from Manchester and there must be some from down south, so perhaps someone in the Midlands? Who's keen?

Just attend one of our LeonOC show meets?

For the first time ever we had more MK3 Leon's than MK2/MK1 at Santa Pod last week, also picked up the best club stand award.

We can be found on FB, Instagram,Twitter etc.

That's good to know. Not on any social media, is there a website with details?

The Midlands is a little too far for me. I'm in Whitley Bay and on 5k per year, the two don't mix haha

I was going to say non of us have enough miles for a meet lol

I'm certainly up for it, what AJB says though, Leonoc is a really friendly group, it's the only group I follow and contribute to on social media. Some really good helpful people on there

leonOC.com, there is an events section on forum, forum is a little quiet these days as everybody uses FB these days (which is annoying)

I just got confirmation from my dealer after prompting them to investigate that my dynamic grey order has also been changed to white - they were completely unaware, and even the business manager i ordered the car through confirmed to me yesterday that the order had not been changed... it was only upon some pushing from me and digging that they actually found it, so they're pretty embarrassed. If you've ordered dynamic grey then i'd really push to find out, as it look like no additional cars are being built with it.

They were able to change it to monsoon grey, thank god... which i'm quite happy about, as i'd been having second thoughts anyway smile

Just emailed my dealer - I ordered mine early September in DG and would rather not have white unless its the only option.

For anyone interested in adding this to the chart (on mobile sorry!)

Sent my order form in to CVL 31st August - Nevada White, Manual, 5dr.

Just today received an email from them that I have a confirmed build date of week 45 - 7th Nov. Expected delivery end of November / first week of December.

That seems like an ambitious delivery date - mine is build week 42 and I have been told delivery end of November.

Then again there seems to be no consistency at all in these build and delivery dates!

Here is the facts on the Dynamic Grey paint issue: if your order was not Status 10 (Build week allocated but not confirmed) by the start of this month, then you are getting Nevada White instead unless there is an available build slot for another colour (which there has been for a few).

Apparently, there is no further supplies of DG being ordered if not booked into the system by close on 30 September ie status 10 or 20 (build week confirmed).

Luckily I am at 20 so it won't be effecting mine - feel for the guys that are having this problem.

David

Anyone considering some form of rim protection for the alloys? Anyone got experience of these products? Cheers.

Yep, I ordered five weeks before that with Wessex (part of CVL I think) and have had no updates or build date.

I rang SEAT today to complain about my Dynamic grey order getting changed to Nevada white. I told them I wanted to get it changed to Monsoon.

They put me on hold for 5 mins whilst the lady tried to sort it. She came back and said "unfortunately your colour can't be changed from Nevada white but we can offer you a 3yr service pack as a good will gesture"

So I'm stuck with white but I thought a 3yr service pack is decent. I asked them to email me confirmation of the service pack and they said they would forward the information onto my dealer (SEAT Stockport) and they would send me a confirmation email.

I emailed Carly at SEAT Stockport shortly after to explain about the free 3yr service pack. She called me back and informed me she had received a bulletin early that day stating customers who have had their Dynamic grey orders changed to Nevada white will all be offered good will..... But SEAT must have made a mistake as the bulletin stated

  • PCP Customer get 3yr service pack and free metallic paint.

  • Lease customers receive £250 high street vouchers.

She then told that the Cupra is on long life serving. The first service costs £179 and should only require the one service over my 2yr term! So she has emailed SEAT to see if they offered me the service plan because I rang to complain or if I should have been offered the high street vouchers. It's a bit of a carry on so I'm going to push for both if it's their mistake as I was told I will get the service pack.
