I'd suggest asking them to put your current wheels on once the blades are changed. The carbon ones won't look so black (have a look at the first photo you posted of your black car) and I think your matt titanium wheels might look good against them.
I'm not a fan of gloss black wheels. Matt/satin black look great on a yellow car. But gloss ones look a bit odd to me.

By itself? No, it stays in whatever driving mode I put it in until I change it to something else.
Thanks Palmball will speak to the dealer.Keep the black wheels but ask them to spray the car in Ara blue 😁. I'm not biased at all you understand . I think the car looks great. Kinda wish I had gone for orange! Still I suspect we all got the email from Audi about the spider today so perhaps an orange spider could be a possibility 😁. As an aside has anyone been offered the track day. My dealer said Audi would contact me but I haven't heard anything
Ha yes, well it was a definitely a close run thing between this yellow and the blue. The blue definitely twinkles more (and I like blue) but the yellow SHOUTS more. Lol.
Anyway, I'm still in a quandary about these bloody wheels. Mainly because I know I hate black wheels normally. The silver ones look cartoonishly big, an effect that I like and is slightly lost on the black. I've bought myself some more time as the car is getting detailed tomorrow, but gotta make my decision in the next day. Just booked it in with Paintshield on Saturday too, so I literally pick it up, drive it to Paintshield then get a hire car for the next week! These cars pick up stone chips very easily so getting the front end covered pronto.
Maybe I could go 50:50 eh?

I really like the design of those wheels but just think that it's lost in the black wheels. I think I'd be going for the ones you already have on your car, knowing that if I had it like that for a few months and decided I didn't like it, it would be much easier to change those to black than vice versa

The photo says it all for me: The black wheel could just as easily be a spacesaver in that photo, but the titanium one looks "right". I suspect a lot of that is just the difficulty of getting black wheels to look good in a photo, but even so I prefer your old ones. It's not like you can seem them while you're driving it, anyway!
And, my final decision was.....
Its been coated in Gtechniq Crystal Serum and Exo v2 today. I pick it up Saturday and taking it straight to Paintshield to have PPF put on the front end (they use Suntek film, which seems to be the thinnest most ripple free film out there). It'll be end of next week before I actually get it for good.

Surely you change cars so frequently that you dont get to see the benefit of PPF, or am I missing something?Palmball said:
