Can anyone help? Has anyone any experience of fitting 3 booster seats (no backs) into the rear of a 9-5? I'm looking at estates (simply because of the sheer amount of stuff we usually take when going on holidays etc etc. Thanks.

Should be doable. You can always take the seats to the car before buying to check?
I have a 9-3 and I reckon I could get three boosters in. Can't get three big child seats in though.

It just wasn't feasible to get all three car seats to the car (seats are in West Wales, car I bought was in Essex). I took a chance - it's going to be v tight but it's only a short term thing - we're going to get an S Max going forward. just in the process of saving more before purchase. Thanks though for coming back to me.

My workaround so I don't have to get a bigger car is to just stick eldest child in the front and the mrs in the back!

Yup, used to do this with 3 kids when we had a Focus! Not sure her fat Arse is narrower than a booster now hehe

You can do 3 boosters in a 9-5, although doing up seat belts is a fiddly process!!

In the 9-3 I can do two high backed seats and a bubblebum booster in the middle, fine for short journeys but that is about it. Tried them in the back of my Mums Skoda Superb (a car with a HUGE amount of space in the back) and that won't take three high backed boosters. Normal choice for child three is in the front passenger seat.

We've a S Max as a main family car and that easily takes three, actually quite a good car considering.

As for fiddly seat belt buckles you can try the extenders, got a couple off amazon, magnificent things

Yep - we had an S max for years (we've got a 5,7 and 9 yr old). Great cars.

Unfortunately we decided to get rid of the aging S Max and get a kia sportage - we made the mistake of using the garage's seats to test the ability to take 3 seats rather than our own. their's fitted but ours didn't......funny that.

Our fault of course. but right now not in a financial position to change (we're leasing the kia).

Might be cheaper to replace the car seats that you have with the one's that fit the Kia, is that a possibility ?
