Hello All

My wife would like one of those, and it seems there are two type of headlight, the standard bulbs and Xenon.
Is there an easy way to physically check which type of headlight is fitted?

xenon will always have auto levelling and headlight wash. Standard bulb have a manual height adjustment inside the car to take account of load in the car.

Not familiar enough with the models to know if the headlight shape is noticeably different but the covers for the headlight wash usually show up in photos well enough - I imagine they're rare as they were £1k option I believe

Hello

Thank you for that, so there should be a little "trap" in the bumper, and somekind of motorised thing conected to the headlights.

The halogen will have a little button or something like that in the cabin to alter the height.

Cheers

If I am correct then on the Alhambra/sharan etc the halogen is a reflector unit (so a big circle reflector behind the bulb) and the xenon light will have a projector light

I would expect to see a little warm up time on the xenons to reach full brightness. Halogens will be instant.
