Are there deals to be had on these? Quite fancy the sedan version.

Looks like you've done the exact same as me, right a R into a s3!

Had a look around for these for a while, IMO not worth the additional over and above the sportback if you're after 4 doors.

also, roof line in the rear slopes quote heavily so more cramped in the back for adults over 5'8

Sportback FTW smile

Time to start looking at a replacement for the R and with all other cars over the past 10 years being Audi's it would be lovely to have an S3 in the garage beside the new Q7.

Where are you chaps finding the best deals??

Ta in advance

For those of you guys who have driven both an S3 and Golf R, how do they compare in terms of suspension comfort, road noise and fun? I understand that the R is a more sotrted steer, but not sure if this would be apparent unless driving at 8/10ths or more?

Good question.

My understanding is yes, well sort of.

Employees are limited to two cars per person, so if Mr and Mrs both have cars already then no way. If they only have one or not at all, then I think yes.

Money is taken directly out of wages, so they would need to feel pretty comfortable you were going to pay them each month.

Equally you would need to be aware if they handed their notice in you would have to return the car, returning before 6 months costs you a months payment.

All deals are subject the the head of business approval, ours won't do TT or cabriolet. I believe he refused an order one the bright yellow colour also.

But it is in his interest to take the order, cos it's a new and then 6 month later a used car sale against targets.

Win win win.

Only down side is, if you work in the motor trade, you probably can't afford one. wink

Ordered mine Monday morning after they put the prices up on the weekend..... mad

Ended up getting an Stronic Audi S3 5 Door Sportback in Metallic Red, as the only option, I think I can live without everything else.

6+23, coming in at £1,549.86 deposit and 23 Payments at £258.31, average cost per month, £312.13 or a total of £7,491 over the term, that's with 6k miles per year, not maintenance.

best deal I had seen for a while, so just took the plunge...

Pitch3110. It was with select car leasing. The price on the website seems higher without mentallic paint but once it's added it comes in lower for some reason. Dealt with a guy called Chris Kirby, very efficient and made it all happen pretty quickly. Although not due for delivery till December. Oh and by the way online it only gives option of 5k miles but apparently the finance company it's with only do a minimum of 6k at the same price. Worked for me.
