All sorted. It's the postcode of Audi Slough. Strangely my car appears to be a Black Edition. Although the dealer said it definitely isn't.
Mine too - it has now delivered to the dealer and it is still showing black edition on the trackerIt's back to normal edition on the tracker, i have a number plate and its arriving on monday - booked a day off...
could you post some pics of the interior please JD?

I have only just discovered they don't come with any kind of parking sensors as standard - that sucks!

If I could order again I would have plumped for the half leather half alcantara; the full leather is very plastic like and the seats appear to be designed for the.... fuller figured gentleman meaning narrow people like me will slide about this is not helped by the seatbelt that has a solid mounting again obviously designed for large people, I think this is a standard VW problem though as our work pool car has the same issue.

Disappointing to hear the leather isn't good quality.. So, Car arrived yesterday - process was silky smooth. Must say.. Immediately i felt a bit underwhelmed next the the R.
It doesn't feel as willing, or as focused as the Golf R. MMI system feels clunky and not intuitive at all.
JD nailed the seats too - they are far too wide and offer little in the way of support, especially when cornering at any other than pedestrian pace.
I am sure it will grow on me - i already like it a bit more than i did yesterday..
anyway, some pics..

Pixelpeep, are you saying the seats are even wider compared to the MK7GTI/R ?That's is the primary reason for me not getting a MK7, I was hoping the more "expensive" Audi would be better.
Sorry, realised a was a little down on the car.
Positives
7th gear on the s-tronic is amazing - a little over 2000rpm @ 80mph
the subtle crackle when coming off the throttle
I also get that the car needs to loosen up a little and the gearbox needs to learn my driving style so maybe not fair to judge it fully just yet..

I would recommend the upgraded seats in the S3 - it is a more premium car but where they have excelled in some areas, they have skimped in others.
it doesn't help that the 'leather'is slippery!

If you use the efficiency mode, it will coast the instant you lift off the throttle too, I am getting well over 40mpg on longish trips which I am impressed with.Positives

I have also set up the individual setting to everything in dynamic bar the steering, which is set to comfort, I have no idea who is doing the calibration for the dynamic steering (tea boy maybe?), super light one moment, then you hit a certain speed and you can barely turn the wheel!
The pops and bangs downshifting once its warm in S (on the gearbox) are quite amusing right?

Hows the stereo?Positives

I understand the Audi sound system is actually a mid range option on the non S3, A3 range. Not boggo, but not B&O either?

JD - yes the bangs on downshift... was a present surprise.. it even pops and bangs when you rev it in P when its warm
Looking good, Pixel! Any pictures of the interior? Note that the MMI is a bit more fiddly, is this due to not being touch screen? How's the nav working for you?
On the plus side, with Christmas coming, maybe it'll be a bit more of a snug fit in the new year!
My build has been pushed back again, this time by a further week to 19th December. Not that fussed, considering VWFS are happy to extend to match the sli. Will be sad to see the R go in all honesty, it's been a great all rounder.
