B8 S4 has two different power outputs - weird

Is one the Supercharged 6 pot, and the other the V8?

Both share the same 3.0 V6 turbo engine. Not sure where it says the Avant is 340PS but that's just an error; it is correct on the configurator.

The A4/S4 brochure shows the power output as different in 2 places and then says 'up to 354PS...on the saloon'. Sounds like they mean it.

Had the B8 S4 and just spec'd a new to 57k. Holy crap! Think I'll wait for the discounts

To be fair I think the S4 price had flatlined for a long time - I had new B5 and B6 ones' and seem to remember them costing c£40k with a few options and after discount.

I specced an A4 Avant to a similar level to my B8, and (using OrangeWheels pricing) it came in about £7K more than I paid in July '15.

About £3K higher price, and £4K less discount. That'll change over time, and as they bundle more goodies into special editions. Some options prices seem to have have gone sky-high though.

I have never owned an Audi but from what I'm hearing and reading I really fancy an S4 Saloon. I got to £52K on the configurator and clearly there won't be any discounts for a while.

Has anybody here got one yet and/or are there demonstrators available?

Discounts - Orangewheels are already offering about 10%, so shop around. Have yet to see one in the flesh anywhere!

I just took a look and your right, amazing as the cars don't seem to be around yet.

I sent an email to my local dealer to see when they might have a demonstrator.
