Brake Assist - Change in VCDS?
Discussion
I have a 2009 Scirocco and I've always found the brake pedal to be somewhat over sensitive which makes if difficult to brake smoothly and gently and just about impossible to heel and toe. I know that within VCDS (VACOM) there is a way of changing "Brake Assist" but I'd like to know if this will have any effect on gentle braking or if this a way of adjusting the threshold at which the system recognises panic braking and applies maximum braking to trigger the ABS. I've seen conflicting views on this but hopefully someone (Dr G?) can give me the definitive answer.

Not sure about changing the brake assist in VCDS but in a modern VAG car its not possible to heal and toe as the throttle is cut when you are braking. Try holding the brake on and then use the throttle at standstill to see what I mean, the vehicle should not rev at all.
Incorrect, it will allow a blip or a 1.5 second hold on the throttle whilst in motion. You can LFB in a VAG if know the pedal dance sequence to overide it
