Skoda 1.9SDI alternator belt losen

hey guys having problem with 2003 skoda with 1.9SDI first alternator belt tensioner and alternator was bad replaced them, bought others from scrap yard fitted everything together put new belt but belt are losen so car squeeking when runing.Any ideas how to find what cousing problem? i checked tensioner is all the way in.Belt bought from shop brand new for 1.9SDI. Would like to hear ideas how o find problem without buying more parts.Thanks guys
