A4 b8 2.0 177 or 3.0?

Annual ownership wobble of my rarely used b7 RS4 and daily drive combo,considering just running one vehicle and obvious choice would be a b8,like the 177cr engine with auto box,do they re map well? Or just go for a 3.0tdi? I will do 20k per annum ish,thoughts on either vehicle appreciated,dont seem to see or hear of many issues with the 2.0cr engine? Are the auto boxes good for big mileage too?

I've got a test drive on Friday for the 218 3.0 looking to get a 278 3.0.

The 278 seems a good compromise for performance and efficiency
