Sudden jerk/loss of power S6 V10
Discussion
Yesterday while driving slowly at part throttle I tried to accelerate and the car stuttered with the revs dropping. Almost like a partial stall in a manual, so quite a sudden jerk.
Any ideas? I did remind my slightly of a D2 S8 I had which did this, but was better after a gearbox oil service.
I hope t's not a terminal box, as I'd prefer to avoid the £2.5k cost....
Thanks

I had this, and it got traced to a faulty crankcase breather causing pressurisation in the engine, or something like that.
Because it went undiagnosed for a while (cue me banging head on wall) I ended up with many gaskets and seals to replace, thankfully not including the sump gasket which is an engine out job.
Gearbox was perfect, but still benefited from an oil change.
