ask for jack snare. good lad.
those deals have gone as it was the last of the pre facelift stock.
they are doing the new 300 bhp facelift for £180 plus VAT. https://www.vehiclesavers.com/car-leasing/seat/leo...
5k miles for that one. if you go to 10k per annum its still under £250 per month with just over £2k down. won't get that from the dealer. it will be double. I know as I got a quote.

Finally gave in and washed the car last night. The number plate on the rear was totally unreadable so saves being stopped by plod at the very least.
I have noticed though that after the wash and drying down that there are they odd lines of sticker residue in places, mainly the roof. They do come off but takes a bit to shift them. Anyone else noticed this?

Yes - and I've noticed a few areas on the front and back windscreen where stickers were applied and in the right light it's still visible. I just assumed that'll all go away over time. Do you think the dealers do a quicker and cheaper prep when it's a lease car?I have noticed though that after the wash and drying down that there are they odd lines of sticker residue in places, mainly the roof. I'd like to think they prepare all the cars equally, surely it's only in there interest to do so. That being said they may look upon leasing cars differently...?
On another subject I setup the car-net last night, slightly disappointed that it's no more than news feeds and Nav routes from your car-net app on your phone. I suspect app connect is where most of the useful features are, at a price..

Definitely a quick once over and that's it. I've had to trim the plastic sheeting where missed and the sucker prints on the screens were a nightmare. My clay mitt finally shifted them. Water on body work didn't bead after the first wash so presume not fully waxed either. Found the odd mark on the roof but not sure until a better detail what it is. Maybe get the roof wrapped black as soot from open fires in my road makes it filthy in under 24 hours.
After 1500 miles I'm finally getting to grips with the dsg, a comprise of manual mode on open roads then eco for town and motorway. Still to crack 32mpg though on my commute. So far I'm 33mph average and 31mpg. Starting to open it up more now so maybe that'll loosen it.

Hi all, firstly thanks to the original lease thread and this one once the car was ordered. Answered loads of questions I had, made it a much easier process.
I'm wondering how many people went with manual and what they make of the box/clutch? Have to say I'm not sold just yet. Rest of the car is spot on however.

I have a manual and find it fine. The clutch is very light (compared to previous cars, Impreza's and RX7's). The gearbox I find is also nice and smooth, engages very easy in all gears. The only niggle for me is the seating position. I'm 6ft 5 and in all my other cars I have been able to get the driving position just right, but in the Golf I find my legs are more bent than I'd ideally like. It's not a deal breaker as I have adjusted to it now.

I'm probably being a bit thick, but I can't find anyway of entering a postcode when I use the SatNav. Am I missing something?
Its a nightmare to findAfter new destination, click on city
Then bottom left hand corner hit the PTCD button - that's the postcode search, then enter postcode without the space
