Some good news at last.

I have just returned my signed documents to Cardiff VW with the updated 6ppm (plus VAT) excess mileage charge.

I contacted VWFS directly yesterday afternoon. To be honest I'm not entirely sure of everything that has happened between now and then. but speaking to Cardiff VW earlier they checked their online system and my mileage rate had been amended and they were able to send out a fresh set of documents.

To anyone still having problems don't give up! It seems it can be sorted.

Roll on delivery!

Sinclair paperwork through. Car getting registered on 7th December. Excess mileage 9ppm plus vat.
Will be calling them later today to discuss.

Goes to show vw tracker is way out. Build date was this Monday 28/11.

Good news there ruggerz!

I'm also on the build week of the 28th so keep my fingers crossed that the tracker is playing silly buggers. Still says build week confirmed on mine.

Maybe they have run out of white paint for mine....tell a lie I've just spoken the the online robots at VW and they tell me it's built and in quality control. As mentioned by others, the tracker is massively out.

I just checked and same for me. I guess it's unlikely (maybe an outside chance?) to arrive for Christmas?!

Mine is currently sat on the driveway! Picked it up and spent the past few days having some fun with some proper pics coming soon. Car is brilliant and doesn't feel at all similar to my Octavia vRS which I was a bit worried about.

For now the only pic I have is when I was at the dealers collecting!

Looks great! Looking forward to the other pics.

What does it feel like to drive? Did you get the manual or DSG?

Looking good. Did the dealer throw in a tank of fuel for collecting?

I ordered a DSG 5dr in white for my mum which turned up this week. She seems happy with it once she knew how to start it and found the heated seat button. (I was surprised it had keyless entry/start).

I went for the DSG due to my commute being mostly sat in traffic, but I think it's a great gearbox and suits the car very well.

I got half a tank of fuel and complimentary VW keyring (Thanks VW). But I had a fun drive back to Liverpool and even averaged 40MPG on the way back. Although that has now dropped to an average of 30MPG after a few more spirited drives!

Thanks for that. I know we are going to see millions of these on the roads now but I'm looking forward to mine arriving now.

Only half a tank? That's a bit cheeky of them.

Glad you are enjoying it though.
