Touareg 3.0 TDI V6 Altitude (2007)

Hi all, am considering getting a Touareg 3.0 TDI V6 Altitude as the missus isn't getting on with the replacement I bought her for the A6.

Anything I should be wary of / should look out for? Never considered an SUV but these look like good value for money currently.

We've got a 2005 2.5TDi, and while it is no Altitude - overall we're really happy with it. Certainly great value for money, and the shape has aged well, although the interior dash feels a bit dated now.

We had one of these for a long time - they are great cars.

Most expensive thing I can think of to check is the propshaft 'donut' it wears out and the prop clanks about. It cost a fair bit to replace.

Also, they are quite quick and heavy ours used to eat brake pads and tyres - about 8-10k for each.
