Why don't you speak to the leasing company and ask them to amend your order. I've just done it last week to add the extended LED pack. I have an unconfirmed build week of 20th Feb and was still able to amend the spec...

You may wanna check to see if you are actually allowed to pick your car up as I spoke with JCT600 (Audi Sheffield) and the guy I spoke to there told me that they weren't insured to have people collect their cars from there. He said it was some kind of PDI centre so I suspect that it won't be at the main dealer that we collect our cars, but at a nearby facility. My car is via Fleetsauce so it might be worth speaking to V4B to see what they say. My conversation was with JCT600 direct though and not Fleetsauce!

I'd be interested to hear how you get on? smile
Ah right I didn't realise that! I just thought it would be a dealer. I will ask nearer the time, I just think if it is going to be driven 60 miles I may as well be the one to do it, unless it comes on a lorry, which has been the case with my previous two lease cars but not always the case with other family members' cars.

I keep pondering the Matrix LEDs and/or Misano Red/Nav Blue. I specced a car up with the light and vision pack (which adds the coloured LEDs too but is easily the best value way to get VC and Matrix LEDs, if you have VC and the coloured LEDs then the Matrix is effectivly £400), Misano Red and the flat bottomed wheel and it's £1500 which is around £57 a month, so would cost me an estimated £488/mo rather than £444/mo with just the VC and flat bottomed wheel. Adds 10% more to the cost of the lease basically.

I'm just not that keen on black as a colour for a car, even though it looks good in black! And I don't like white really. I like the functionality of the Matrix LEDs but will I get £20 a month of use out of them? This time of year probably, in summer probably not.

I might ask them how much it would actually add to the cost and think about it. And then probably do nothing!

Mine was ordered 26th October.

I've got around 3,000 miles left before my current lease car needs servicing so fingers are crossed.

I dont think you will ever feel short changed if you just took the standard lights. They are very bright and have quite a wide spread. Having the right colour is more important i think than some maginally better lights. Like you said its only in winter you would probably get much benefit and only when its dark.
I would take Mis Red and leave the matrix led lights personally.

JCT600 delivered mine in a covered truck - I was very pleased!

I'm with you on that one. I don't want somebody delivering my car by driving it. I've already mentioned it on the special instructions section on the Fleetsauce order form and Fleetsauce did say they'll try to arrange delivery of the car by truck. If not, I have no problem going over to JCT600...if I was allowed to collect the car from there

It does seem odd that they would rather use a truck a driver and there and backs worth of diesel than let somebody pick it up and just make sure there is enough petrol in the car to get it home! The latter would be way cheaper and convenient other than the insurance thing.

No I suppose you will be right gonna light perspective if you came from a golf as well. I spend a lot of time on country roads so thought it may be beneficial.

Has anybody seen a misano red car with red seats? I had red seats in my red S4 ages ago but they are hot full red. Just think the black or grey may be a bit less in your face in a red car!

Tried looking on youtube and google but didnt find red on red from a quick look. Aside from it being completely personal choice I would say red on red would be a bit OTT. I have seen black and grey leather with red and both look great. If your going to have people in and out the car ie family black is probably the best shout unless you get some leather protector on it on delivery and give them a good wipe each week grey will stay clean. Black or grey will contrast well with the red.
However if your brave enough the beauty of a lease is you can go red on red and not have to worry about shifting it later down the line.
Might be worth calling Audi UK and asking if they can tell you where a red on red demo car is.
I took black leather purely because the Daytona Grey with Grey leather demo car i saw had been in the showroom 5 days and already had dye transfer and looked a bit grimy. A swift wipe with a damp cloth brings it off though as long as you do it weekly and stay on top of it.

Good info thanks! The grey is the unknown as red/black two tone leather in the S4 was fairly well behaved but the black contrasted the red well so red exterior with bits of red on the inside worked well. With these being entirely red I think that's a different story. Plenty of pics of misano red cars online though, I do like it better than the black and if I do swap colours it will be what I go for I just need to decide if it's worth the money.

If your thinking about the red colour its becuase you want it lol. My first reaction was to order standard except for VC but i justifed options by jibbing off my daily costa coffee.

Yeah that's it. If I go to the pub less I can pay for both the better lights and the nicer colour! Would like the ACC but there is no way whatsoever it is justified with its price.

I don't think anybody is getting a sportback before March are they? The soonest I have seen on here is 20th of Feb build date. Unless the sportback and Jan question were unrelated... I am often over Manchester way but it's a few months til I get mine and I'm sure there will be somebody nearer.

Surprising how much you can save by cutting back on a few things. I never used the ACC on my golf r and have not used the cruise on the S5. i always just use the pedal

I use it on the motorway, or when in boring traffic! But yes I will certainly manage without it. The sat nav in the S5 will be far more useful than ACC in the Golf even though I normally know where I am going without nav it's when somewhere unexpected crops up its handy.
