Jacob/Simon - Have any of you played around with the album art for MP3's yet?

I know in the Golf R it supports 400x400px cover art. Just wondering if you're aware of what the S5 supports?

Oh and does it have both SD and USB for connectivity?

Cheers

Have you figured out how to get the radio text to display?
On my Golf R the radio used to give you the song playing but I have not yet figured it out on the Audi. You can have the radio info up that gives you a full grid view of the show, presenter, previous songs etc but thats it from what i can see.
This really annoys me as well. It's the same on my a4... have to manually slide the wheel to the right and select radio text (or something like that) but gives a button ugly text display with far to much info... don't know how to just get song title and artist!.

Been playing with both the android auto and car play voice features and so far the android voice seems to get my song choices more accurately but carplay looks and feels better.

Also started using the handwriting pad thing... it's actually a lot easier and faster to write letters whilst driving than trying to enter them with the wheel.
You share my pain! Have you noticed there is a little letter i for information where you would expect the song name to be? its like its teasing me!! Argh!!! It really is driving me insane.
Agree on the touchpad it really is impressive.

I will have a look tomorrow for the USB and SD connections. Think they are under armrest.

When using apple carplay or Android auto you get the album art directly from deezer/amazon/apple music etc... it's pretty smooth and looks good.

I think it will have two SD card slots, the standard nav has 1 IIRC and 1 for the nav but the plus has 2 as the nav is stored on board. Or something like that.

I must stop looking at this thread five times a day, it's really not doing my patience level any good whatsoever.

In the interest of asking a question and simply trying to suck up more information about the S5 could I ask if there are any MPG updates now that the guys that have them delivered started using the car is a little bit more.

Hoping for an average of 25 MPG - that'll do me perfectly.

And perhaps not nailing it every time they get chance!

I too would be interested to see how you guys are getting on with fuel.

That's quite reassuring, I don't have stop start really on my commute but I don't have motorway either (A and B roads) but I think if I can get 25+ day to day I will be happy, it's long runs that have got my Golf up to 31 and I think the S5 may give the Golf a run for its money there due to the gearing. Last night was doing 80 and the Golf was at over 3k which isn't great IMO.

My long term average is 18.1 however my journey to work includes either town roads with an average speed of about 14mph or a roads with a very high average speed (the fun way).

On motorway I'm getting early 30s

Early 30s sat at 70? As long as I can see a 3 on the front on a run I will be happy!

This morning, I check it loads every day (addicted) I ordered it early in October so was not expecting this delay. I've emailed the dealer.

Hmm that's not good. Mine has been at 10th of April for a while now (back from 20th of Feb, then to the 3rd of April) so it will probably cause mine to go back too. Best be a very good car when it gets here!

I'll consider cancelling mine if it is delayed badly as it will cause me issues with no car and also don't believe it's worth waiting 8 months for

Yeah it depends what actually cones of the delay for me. I can probably manage a while without it but my issue is there isn't anything I'd rather have for similar money or less, apart from an S4 perhaps if I could get one quicker but that will probably have similar delays! The RS3 saloon isn't due out soon enough and it will probably be too dear!
