Does anyone with a coupe know whether the seat belt feeders need to be turned on or something? As according to the manual they're supposed to push forward the seat belt when either the door is closed or the ignition switched on. I don't think I've ever seen them work on mine.
Mine do it every time... no idea why yours aren't activating. Must be a pain in the arse reaching right back.. once you sort it out you will always need the feature! When I switch to the a4 now I hold my hand out waiting for the car to pass me the seat belt.. only to be disappointed!

Have you called the dealer, as mine was on QC on the tracker when I called and the dealer said it had left the factory, the next day the tracker updated.

As said on here before the tracker seems to lag.

Spoke to them on Thursday and they waffled in about it being due to be built on 20th Feb (it was already finished, obviously) and then said it was in QC. I told them I know that already, it shows in QC on the tracker, and their response was it 'takes a while as they check everything to make sure it's safe'.

I may as well have asked my mum.

Nope, mine went into QC Friday or yesterday overnight and is still there. I suppose QC may take different amounts of time depending on what they find. Still good that the cars are built before the week they were supposed to

6th march build here too. Went to assembly Friday midnight. Still assembly now frown
Do they work Sundays? smile still hoping for a march delivery. I think it's pretty likely now
FWIW I understand the tracker updates at midnight but usually it's 1am the hidden website shows it at midnight usually. Hoping my tracker is a bit laggy. I have also seen it update during the day (just the once) so WTF am I taking about lol

The tracker on mine has updated overnight too. It's now showing the same as yours (In transit to the UK)

Me too. I recon there will be a few of us who will receive their cars at the same time as they must be on the same boat! My dealer insisted that delivery would be no later than 20th the March, but I am thinking this may well be sooner now....Fingers crossed.

My build date was 6th march, over the last week it's going through the first few stages and on Friday was at the paint shop stage. I assume not much will happen over the weekend, but prompted by this thread I've just checked and minds gone through production and is now in quality control. It seems therefore like it's got slightly ahead of the build date which wasn't supposed to be until tomorrow.
Fingers crossed it jumps out of quality control and across to transit quickly - don't want to get my hopes up, but it does sound like it might well arrive before the end of March.

Nice one mate. I think yours is about the only Sportback that I've seen that's been built ahead of schedule. I suspect that you could get it before end of March too... biggrin

Just to give you an idea of how mine progressed...

Order date = 28th Oct
Build date (According to tracker) = 20th Feb
"Order received" status = Showing from time of order to Sunday 26th Feb
"Quality control" status = Monday 27th Feb
"In transit" status (From Ingolstadt to port by rail) = Wednesday 1st Mar
"In transit" status (To UK by boat) = Sunday 5th Mar

Build date was originally 1st May. Got moved two weeks forward to 17th April. Checked it today expecting it to be moved forward again.
Its been delayed a month until 15th May now. Really disappointed.

Nothing caught my eye as yet on the lease thread, but for those wanting an S5, CVL have some average deals going. You'll probably get yours before mine as well.

Works out at £11,700 over the two years, so £500 more than the deals we got but probably factoring in the increased VED with some pocket money for CVL on top.

I wouldnt worry about it yet. The dates got flung around left right and centre on mine before they settled around where I was originally quoted. Then they built it before it was supposed to. Its in QC now when it was only meant to be made this week.

The CVL deal is around £100 more than the November deals accounting for VED (not sure if you saw my post in the lease thread), which would be pocket money for CVL IF the rates are the same from VWFS, I was told they had gone up (which they had) but whether these are cancelled orders or what I don't know.
