I got mine earlier today from Fleetsauce as well, it does now register with the Audi tracker, butAll it showing me at the moment is the order reference number and the order date and the dealer in which it was placed with and then simply showing me the welcome page.

Checked mine on the Audi tracker just and it now says 'Your S5 Sportback is expected to begin construction on 13th March 2017.'

Very pleased with that as I did not want it until mid-April.

Mine has been at the quality control stage most this week and dealer advises 1st week January as an expected arrival onto forecourt.

I will be looking to get the grill and window frames wrapped in first few weeks... does anyone know anywhere near Glasgow that does this and approximately how much it would cost? Also will the wrap remove and leave behind no residue when I return the car.

Also does anyone know if there are any tuning boxes available for the car yet? Would definitely be interested in adding a box to release a bit more power, however a bit concerned that the early boxes may cause damage or leave markers in the engine coding which could affect warranty... Any Thoughts on this?

Has anyone managed to get a current s5 brochure as the one linked to my myaudi tracking is the old model.

Cheers

If you're thinking of adding a tuning box to what is, effectively, a hire car, it's not the warranty that's your main concern.

If for any reason Audi notice evidence of it, you might have trouble with them saying you've devalued their car and then demanding compensation from you.

Mine is saying construction will start Feb 13th - no sure why so late compared to some of the others on here, considering I ordered it on the 25th Oct.

Looooong wait

Mine is now in transit - this will be via train to the dock.

On the subject of tuning it depends what solution you use. My Golf R has a JB1 which is plug and play and does not raise the TD1 flag when connected to VW equip. You have to remove it (4 plugs) when it goes in but very easy to do. Took my Golf R to 361bhp using 99 ron fuel.
An APR or REVO tune does get picked up but depends if the dealer cares. Some actually dont

Just checked mine online and its been updated with the same build commencement date, 13th March.

I'm the opposite, my A7 is 3 yrs old end March, so really want rid before having to MOT and extend the warranty - so am hoping this date my come forward slightly..

I assume the build process inc delivery to dealer is approx 6 weeks from actual build start date?

I'm sort of in the same boat as you and would rather mine came sooner rather than later. My order also says build commencement, 13th march.
My order is with Fleetsauce, so I asked if they could check with the dealer as my concern was that if the commencement of the build wasn't until 13th march the cars would then be looking at delivery in April and I wanted to query the increase in road tax was then going to be an issue.
Fleetsauce contacted the supplying dealer, they have explained that the vehicles production date is highly likely to be bought forward by a couple of weeks. Apparently all of the vehicles have been put onto the system at pretty much the same time, but Audi haven't allocated them the correct build week as of yet. The dealers advice was to keep an eye on the date over the next few weeks, we may well then find that it changes. He repeated again the car is more than likely to be delivered before the end of March.

13th March for me as well. Seems a standard date, I would be very surprised if that didn't come forward. Probably significantly.

Road tax is included for the whole lease so there is nothing to worry about on that front

Mine says due for construction on the 20th of February (I ordered on the 27th October)

I think that date's only updated this afternoon as I'm pretty sure it wasn't there this morning...

That's interesting info, thanks for that - I've also ordered mind through Fleetsauce, so hopefully we'll see some positive movement over the coming weeks..

If it doesn't come forward I think I'll just put the A7 up for sale early Feb and see what happens. If it goes quickly I'll be running around in one of the spare cars at work (Qashqai or Passat), so not the end of the world for a month or so I guess.

Yours will be an 'experimental' build. They're practising on it to make sure they can get mine absolutely perfect.
