Super happy for those who have received their cars. Mine is now at the preparation stage with a build date of 27th of march.

SB, Ibis White with red interior
Flat bottom
Privacy Glass
Rear view camera
B and O sound system
Light and visions pack

Went for the additional options as I'll have the car for 3 years.

Yeah, that's what they did with mine. Mine arrived in Grimsby on the 7th of March and when I signed the paperwork off it contained the reg number.

Finally after a great deal of chasing today both with JCT600 and FS, my car is booked for delivery to me on Thursday 30th March!!!!
I presume its at the dealer already?

Just checked the tracker and yes it's arrived at the dealer (I'm assuming yesterday or today)

And how hard did you have to push them to get it the day you do? Just thinking if they get mine there in the next day or two when I might actually get it. Would really like it by the 5th as I am off away for the night to the dales so would be a nice ride out for it. Well, I am off over on the 31st too but I don't think that will happen frown

I've asked specifically for that now three times, but each time have been told that they can't do anything with it until it has been listed on the system as being assigned ( or something along those lines) to the supplying dealer. I'm really not sure what else to do other than start shouting at someone - although I doubt that will get very far.
Sounds like a jobs worth. 5 min job using the VIN number they already have. It's all computerized after all.

You do need to consider the fact that Audi are a bunch of incompetent arse holes when considering what should or shouldn't possible.

Never again for me. I don't know how people can deal with them on a regular basis.

Definitely back to BMW for me after this one, if not INSTEAD of this one.

Wow, given there is £6k of VAT on it I think that's pretty steep. It won't be cheap to mend and before extras you can buy them for not a lot over £40k. At least one would expect that it won't be a cat d?

It will buff out...

Gutting for the poor person who has waited months for that!

Yeah I bet they got them a car quickly though. Or lent them something to make it worth their while. Unless it was a lease car.

I think FS have pushed JCT600 cos I've been complaining today because I sent my paperwork back over 10 days ago and I started to chase it last Friday. Got a reply finally on Monday to say one of my signatures didn't match my driving license. Long story short, FS have given me a delivery date of the 30th.

What's the story with yours then? Is it already in Grimsby?

Jees, you'd be gutted waiting all those months only for the dealer to call and say "Whoops, sorry sir, there's a slight issue with your Sportback!"

I'd really love to know the story behind that car and what's happened...

Been in Grimsby since the 16th. Chased V4B up on it yesterday and I asked "am I going to have it this month" to which they found out of JCT600 I probably wasn't going to get it this month.

If the bag went off, presumably it was ignition on and someone at the wheel? rather than falling off the truck...

Well if my case is anything to go by, once all your paperwork is in place then JCT600 should be able to call your car from the port ready for PDI etc.

I would keep pushing V4B if I were you firstly ensuring that all your paperwork is in place. If you don't have any joy with them, then speak directly to JCT600...although I wasn't impressed with them today as I needed to speak to Melissa Bagshaw and left her two messages both of which she chose to ignore!!!! It's at that point that I went back to FS who spoke to JCT600 to provide me with the delivery date...

Persistence is the key here mate (Basically keep pressing until you get what you want!) wink

Hey guys pulled the trigger on the S5 sportback.. Just wanted your opinions on the deal. Was a cancelled order so delivery should be mid next month.

Standard Spec so no options:

9+23 £355.75 a month Inc vat so £3201.75 initial payment. 10K miles per year. 24 months. £180 admin fee.

Thoughts please?..

If that includes the increased VED (it should) then it's a good deal.

The paperwork isn't in place yet we haven't been sent it yet, but mine hasn't been at the port long compared to others that have now got dates. I will speak to V4B again today as he was meant to be ringing me back.

I am guessing Melissa is very busy rather than just ignoring you, given the amount of people in this thread that seem to be phoning her about their cars let alone the other people who aren't on here. Not saying its good but sometimes there is only so much one person can do!
