Yeah well I've been told it will include the new VED. But Audi direct are telling me it'll most likely not be factored in at that price. I guess it's a case of just waiting. So as it is, do you think it's good given that it's just the standard spec vehicle? NickA555 said:

Well if my case is anything to go by, once all your paperwork is in place then JCT600 should be able to call your car from the port ready for PDI etc. I would keep pushing V4B if I were you firstly ensuring that all your paperwork is in place. If you don't have any joy with them, then speak directly to JCT600...although I wasn't impressed with them today as I needed to speak to Melissa Bagshaw and left her two messages both of which she chose to ignore!!!! It's at that point that I went back to FS who spoke to JCT600 to provide me with the delivery date...
Persistence is the key here mate (Basically keep pressing until you get what you want!)
I chased both Melissa and Fleet source yesterday - there is no way I'm going to be accepting an increase in cost for a car that is set in the UK could by all accounts be easily registered, I have told them as such and I think they're taking it all on board.

Yes back in November the deals were for £11200 ish standard which although yours is slightly more at £11384 its not a huge difference and given that its a cancelled order it is more of a seller's market if you want one quickly. If it includes VED its cheaper than November, if it doesn't its slightly more expensive.As for the spec, if I was in your position I would be wondering if the VC was worth £250 plus whatever inconvenience you will incur from not getting your car sooner. The flat bottomed wheel is nice (my car will be VC and FB wheel) but I wouldn't wait longer for it.
I was late in deciding I wanted to go to light and vision pack and Misano Red. When I found out it would delay my car by at least a month and mean I incurred VED charges I left it as it was as I couldn't justify the extra money (inc. the VED) and the fact it was delaying things.

That's about correct mate. Some ppl have waited longer mine was at emden on the 7th and left on the 18th. I think as it was sheerness the city of Oslo can carry 2k cars the others are 1k ish. Found that on Audi-sport forum. More boats are scheduled to clear back logMine has arrived at the dealers, a few days ago by all accounts. They've had all the paperwork for over a week. Still unable to give me a delivery date, 'systems are down' apparently. The guy I spoke to at Audi yesterday was less than helpful...
Tegan at fleetsauce on the other hand has been really on the ball, happily answering my many calls and emails, even though she must be sick of me!
Hopefully hear something today...

My build date is mid April. Ordered s5 sportback in ibis white with red interior.
I am still trying to decide whether to go for black or white. Was going to wait to see photos from members before deciding.
Has anyone received their sportbacks in black or white? Also with my build date on April 17th, when is the latest I can change my exterior colour choice without causing any delays?

We'll although my car left the factory on Monday, I've been told there is no way I'll beat the end of March deadline.
Revised quotes came in on Monday at at approx 440 more
I've just decided to put it to the back of my mind and revise my 3+ to a 6+, this will pay for my options up front (550) and the additional VED and keep my monthlies the same (actually about £15/month less) as advertised when I first signed up. (You see, it's cheaper! man maths 101 at work)
To be honest I have been waiting for this car so long now that if they required a sacrifice, like a goat slaughter on my driveway
, then I'd be up for it.....just give me the dam car!
My further Man maths justification to myself is that my current car can go back at anytime in April, but the latest is 1st May, so if the Audi is delayed well into April, then I'm 400 better off anyway, because I'm not having 2 cars on the drive costing my aprox 400 a month....get it...IT MAKES SENSE RIGHT!
