Just taken delivery, white coupe with red interior. Am at work, will take pics later. First impressions are that it looks MUCH better in the flesh, inside and out. Having driven it around the block for 2 minutes, sounds great too.

So for those still waiting, I would say that it's very much worth the wait... so far at least!
Hope you all with deliveries will be joining http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... with comments on the car!

Mine were correct, way different in what respect? Hugely expensive or a different term?
Initial rental is around £1300 more than agreed.
Payments are around £20 more than agreed.

Hoping it is just an admin error!
Before I cancelled mine, one of the emails I received was between broker and Sheffield Audi and in it Audi were talking about Q1 '17 prices v Q4 '16 prices and how they'd had to 'requote' with new prices.

Assume they were talking about how cars on order were priced too low based upon expecting to register them earlier than they have actually managed, given all the delays.

Perhaps the paperwork you have reflects that - not that it's your problem if they quoted too low in the first place.

On the other hand perhaps they just sent the wrong paperwork!

Just spoke to Sheffield Audi, they told me Audi and DVLA have blocked registering any new cars unless they are actually at the dealer due to too many getting registered, higher VED it is for me then missing it by a day it looks like

It did turn out to be an error in the end.

I think you are right in what you are saying though as the figures were in line with the 'new' prices I've seen online.

Sound like more bulls**t to me. Registrations are done online using the DVLA website with a VIN number. Takes 5 minutes or less. It does not want to know where the car is located upon registration.

For you guys still waiting for delivery, afterwards it doesn't get much better. Had the Audi Connect fob for the code missing from the key ring on delivery. New one ordered from Audi in Germany via my dealer nearly two weeks ago...chased it up today and told it would possibly be another 10 days but they are not that sure. Audi cars are nice, but their customer service is total cr**p. Lesson here is MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE CODE TAG on delivery!!!!

That's appalling.

I would tell them to stick the car where the sun doesn't shine, like I did with my order.

You're probably somewhat stuck given the pricing will still be as good as, or better than, a new order would achieve but personally I'm too pig-headed to give in and let them pass the costs of their incompetence on directly like that.

Had my paperwork through today, complete with Reg No, VIN and a registration date of 31st March. Turned it around pretty damn quick in case someone changes their mind. Made sure the signatures match and so on as I don't want to fall at the last fence, so to speak.

Mention made of collecting it next week but seeing is believing.

Hoping some others are seeing progress today.

Same here, I'm hoping for delivery middle of the week but I haven't been told if that is possible yet.

Id probably do the same - stick it up ya ar**. It might even get them to sort it out somehow. Generally there is always a way.

I wonder if it is so they don't look to have a bad month in April?

Whats your thoughts on the Nav Blue - happy?
Quite like the Nav Blue, its appearance varies quite considerable with the amount of ambient light, can look quite dark, almost purple at times. Glad I ordered it.

Mine is through fleet source, but with JCT600.
Yesterday they confirm that my car would be arriving at the fleet depot on 29th - but that there was no way it could be delivered to me by the end of the week. I have requested Friday 31st which they were trying to achieve. it has however been confirmed that my car is definitely going to be registered by the end of the month.
I'm actually away from Friday lunchtime until Monday afternoon on a "boys weekend". If I hadn't been going away I think I would have been going to collect it myself, but just not enough time to think about doing this ahead of the weekend.

Melissa from JCT600 has be really good throughout, I mentioned the key tag and she is specifically going to check my keys before my car is dispatched

The good news is that I now have my delivery date booked in for Tuesday 4th April - it's going to be delivered on a transporter. - this also happens to be my birthday, so looking forward to treating myself to a new car for my birthday present.
My birthday's also on the 4th April! Shame my car won't arrive until potentially end of April though. Still haven't got any movement on tracker.

The car I cancelled still hasn't made it beyond Emden. It's been there 14 days now following its (very) extended stay in QC.

I'll still be interested to see how long it takes to finally get to the dealer, for whoever is the lucky new owner.

They will have stopped making them by the time it gets to a dealer!

It's the mythical blue with red leather Sportback.

Often spoken of, but never seen in the wild.

biggrin

I'm picking up the M4 on Friday, Nick. Paperwork and insurance sorted out today, so all ready to go.

I might be slightly excited.

Oooooh I'd be excited too at the thought of an M4 on my drive!

I saw a convertible last weekend in Alderley Edge and I dunno if it was a factory fit sports exhaust or an aftermarket one and my god was it loud!!! (I'm assuming the latter)

Talking of insurance, you've just reminded me to sort mine out on Wednesday ready for the SB arriving Thursday. I'd have bloody forgotten lol
