hi there, I can see MMI connect and my audi too going to check them out. I think the former allows unlock and lock etc
Thanks, just downloaded mmi connect and this looks like the right one. can't unlock the car until I have put the access code into the car, but looks right.

Well my SB has finally arrived and it's actually the first time I've seen the S5 SB in the flesh. Looks nice and I like the red leather too. Not driven it yet but will take it out soon to fill her up...

For those of you that have your cars, can I ask what the code looks like for the Audi connect? (I have a code attached to the keyring but the delivery says that's the chassis number)

Whoop mine just jumped to status 39 (on the way) in the early hours of today. So that's 5 days between leaving the factory and boarding the ship.

On the key fob there should be a scratch off code that you need to use for Audi Connect. I should of had one with mine but Audi lost it. It is unique to your car so takes a month to get a new one from Germany with a LOT of hassle in trying to do so due to data protection etc. BTW if you have it, keep it safe as anyone can unlock the car remotely with this code and the VIN number.

Second that - nobody in Sheffield Audi seems to know what to do to get it. I have been copied in on lots of emails being sent internally and nobody seems to know. Melissa is doing her best to help me though!

Get your dealer to telephone my Audi Dealer in Milton Keynes (01908 308200 parts dept) as they have had the painful process of finding out firstly what to do, and then how to order a new one from Germany.

BTW, I complained so much about this going missing, my dealer has offered me £250.00 worth of Audi accessories as compensation!.....maybe you could ask as well. Reference me at Audi MK if you need to.

Yeah, my delivery guy said the same, basically talking ste.

Open the plastic tab, next to the chassis number is a small silver square. That rubs off.

Looking forward to seeing some pics of all the new cars.

Anyone gone for blue/red?

Very interested to see how that looks.

I really don't understand Audi. You mention your car was 5 days from leaving the factory to getting a boat. Mine has been waiting for a boat since 13th March!

Build date was the 20th. Could it be a regional thing? Mine is going to Audi Newcastle so might be on a different sailing. Their graphic shows Port of Tyne as one of the routes but I'm not 100% sure if it's actually active at the moment. Not having much joy tracking down Emden->Tyne sailings via free tools.

Wish I had a choice I'm without a car at the moment, got to say it's made the experience an unhappy one in the end, not going to break the bank but it's the principle and they way they handled it
